OCTOBER 2015 NVC FILERS

I did not see the thread started yet for those who have their file transferred from a service center to NVC, so I started this thread.

I know there will be a lot of questions and comments, so let's try to keep it all organized in here!

I too am still in NVC.

I have a couple of more steps to do before waiting on Case Complete.

My scan date was 21st Aug and still no case complete. I'm so sad right now.

I was hoping for a November interview.

My case is completed within 3 weeks at NVC, but I did not received an interview appointment until today, Oct 1 and scheduled for Nov. But my wife is in the US now, so I also just filed I-485 same day right before received appointment notice. What a coincidence!

Now I am waiting for NOA from USCIS before calling both NVC and US Consulate to cancel my appt and request return file to USCIS for AOS processing

Hoping for the 3 N/A's within the 30 days and an Montreal interview in December or January.

Hello Tayjus93, We are in the same boat. My case was Sent to the NVC on September 21st and received on the 25th. The best option for us is keep calling if We want to get our case # and IIN soon. I know is stressful.

Try call at 0605, 1000, 1400, 1900, 2200 EST.

Call early works for me.

Last time I checked it was taking about 12 days for the NVC to have the case number ready. I think maybe somebody got it 8 days later. I would plan for 12 days.

I suggest to call today late or since Monday every day.

Mm15 (i think), did you get your 3rd N/A yet? I just saw Ibreal1 posting that they got CC today, with the same scan date as yours.

I am still waiting for mine... 23rd day today.. I hope it comes before hubby returns to the US, next week
