30 Days at NVC....Concerned

So today makes 30 days since my case has been at NVC.

It also makes a whole week since NVC sent me an email stating they received my AOS/IV docs.

I have read about some cases getting checklists because they sent the documents before completing the DS 260.

I haven't even been able to pay the $325 IV Bill yet, due to my own personal reasons.

So I am feeling slightly concerned.

I really do not want a checklist.

Should I feel concerned?

I was at the NVC for 5 months; sometimes they take forever. Persistently call them till you get though and ask for an update on your case.

I'm confused you say 30 days but your timeline says you just sent you your AOS and IV package on 9/22. So not sure what you are worried about?

Everyone is free to send in he AOS and IV package once they pay the AOS fee. Paying It has nothing to do with them check listing you. You are talking abut a false checklist.

Have you called NVC to review and unlock your DS-261. That's how you get the party started. They are pen until midnight why not call.

Sorry for the confusion.

What I mean by 30 days, is it has been 30 days since NVC first assigned a case number for me.

But that is good to know that I will not receive a checklist for not paying the IV bill yet.

Yes the DS 261 was reviewed and unlocked Sept 22, my IV bill was invoiced Sept 23, my AOS and IV docs were scanned and received Sept 24.

So I am relieved.

Thank you.

Thanks for the clarity and sure you could get a checklist that you haven't paid IV bill and please submit the IV documents. It would be a false checklist. They assume when you get invoiced you will pay and move along in the allotted time they will send checklist no big deal.

Okay.

I am glad to know I have nothing to worry about.

I have done everything.

All that is left is for me to pay the $325 IV bill and to complete the DS 260 form.

Praying for the best!
