Please disregard my older post! I just received and email which had more detail letting me know that my application has in fact been rerouted to the California Service Center, which I am quite pleased with.

That's what I thought, because you mentioned not having a choice about posting to Texas, I realised you thought that other people were sending the forms to California, but that's not how it works.

Congrats on being sent to Cali, they're working really quickly :D

That seems quite reasonable!

My estimated NOA 2 date isn't until March so I am a little bummed about that, but hopefully trends continue for response time at the Cali location because most people I have seen are getting their NOA 2 notice in less than a month.

Hi! You most definitely were not processed in Dallas, many people confuse the Dallas lockbox address with being processed in TSC. The lockbox simply routes applications once they are received, and ALL applications since March 27 have been routed to CSC, so please double check your receipt number. If you are a WAC that means you were routed to CSC, as has been the case since March and the backlog. If you are SRC then that means you were processed in Texas, although it would be unheard of to receive NOA2 from Texas in 27 days. So if you are WAC please correct your timeline, and congrats. :)

Congrats your petition was sent to California, you weren't mistaken when you saw the massive difference in process times, we were unlucky and got sent to Texas ( NOA 1 Feb 19th 2015) and we got approved after 6 months, so what you saw was correct, people waiting 6-7-8 months, whilst California was taking 14 days- 35 days. It was very hard waiting for so long, and as of now, I'm still waiting for an interview date. This is not an easy process and you can't be impatient or worry to much. Good luck with your journey.

I submitted our petition on March 9. it is still at TSC. Today is day 206 for us. Sadly, USCIS does not adhere to what they claim as "First come, first served" I honestly hope you do not have to suffer like those of us still waiting that did not get sent to CSC or those who have waited(fellow March filers) and were approved in September.

Good luck!

Same here even our petition was submitted on March 9,it is still in TSC. Today i tried to contact USCIS customer service and spoke to a representative and she told me that their systems are updated only with petitions that were filed on January 19th. I am not sure what is going on. This seems to be a very long wait...If really TSC is having so many cases why they don't transfer to CSC all the cases that all more than 6 months. I think all we can do is just keep waiting...This is really tiring.

Waiting 24, I'm really sorry to hear you've been waiting that long, I pray you get your NOA2 soon, ( maybe contact your Senator). You see people here filing in California ( after 27th March) moaning because are kept waiting 3 weeks for approval, they just don't understand. I've never seen any sympathy on any of these forums for Texas filers from Californian ones.

Waiting24,

Day 208 for us. USCIS is full of shi_. There are plenty of September filers that have gotten NOA1's and their NOA2. USCIS or my senators office say that they cannot comment because it is not "your" case and VJ is not an official government website. Please let me know when you are approved. Perhaps us March filers that have not been "touched" yet are at the same officer's desk...hahaha
