I and my Chinese girlfriend plan to start k1 process soon . my question is her daughter is now 18 just started her second year of collage ! her daughter wants to stay in china to finish collage almost 3 more years , by that time she will be over 21 , what process do we use to move her here after collage ? how long does it usually take ? any help or suggestions will be appreciated . I am so confused !

I'd do this differently and not after the college. K1 is the perfect choice as she can come on K2 visa with her mother and do AOS, get AP and then re-entry permit after she has the GC. Schooling is perfectly acceptable reason for re-entry permit and absence out of the country.

Just be sure that the K2 daughter gets her AOS approval prior to attaining 21 years of age.
