If i cared anymore about our case would be 286 days and counting... We've already moved on and making moves for me to move there and doing so in a couple of months. I still haven't canceled our k-1 only out of entertainment interested in seeing if theyd ever respond to our case up until i leave the states.

Isn't it hard to get into Venezuela? My ex partner is Venezualan and his mom has a damn hard time coming here. Could it be that VZ is a hard country to get here from?

Hampguy, where do you think they base the 9,5 months on they reported in your email? Is it linked to the official "january 19th" processing date on their website? Because a majority of february filers have gotten their NOA2 as well, that would mean there's hope for all of us get ours before...december??! :/

Yes but December of what year?

I'm shocked by this. Your NOA1 was Jan? I don't blame you for making other plans if only to keep you from feeling absolutely powerless and going crazy. I wonder if you could marry and then apply from Venezuela? Or at least live there until they finally get around to reading your application. Is it possible they lost it and don't want to admit that?

Our NOA1 was March 17 and we are still waiting.

Today we are at the 7 month mark :clock: and still nothing, Seeing that some of you have gotten your approvals is helping me keep my faith. So I am sure soon we will hear something.

I know how you feel...... my experiences is that it DID get better and the angst and all the other emotions associated with the wait vanished immediately. (my experience). Hang in there, if you would like to chat, PM me.

Any approvals lately? I see they updated processing times on the 17th. I however still have not heard anything. Going on 8 months. I guess I will be one of the ones that take forever to get an approval, just my luck.

Not sure if coincidence or not. My RFE was 09/01/2015. I was about 53 business days into waiting (they told me on the phone i had to wait 60 days before they could even see if a problem) when I wrote my senator seeking help. The next day it was approved. I never heard anything from my senator so no clue if sheer coincidence, or if a call was made. I have used my senators in the past and it is always interesting how some things can be done when a call comes from their office.

Ok everyone-I need to rant. We are at the end of our patience, our health, and everything else. It's been over 300 days since we filed. USCIS "processing times" has passed our filing date and STILL NOTHING.

Senator Schumer's office is harder to contact than USCIS and has done nothing at all-not even answering our emails or our calls. We gave up on them. Senator Gillibrand's office has been very prompt and knowledgeable but have not yet replied to our email of last night.

We really, really don't know what else to do. We are considering just moving to another country.....what else is possible for us? I am sick and not getting medical care here-things are really going downhill fast and I don't think I have the energy to fight any more. Already we are so far behind that I will need to fly back to the US to do income taxes and get more meds and supplements (illegal to ship those into Mex) and I guess return again if they ever process our application.

Maybe they are going to deny it and that's why this is taking so long. Anyone have any insight into why applications are denied?

Anyone have suggestions for another country we could live in that isn't too expensive since I'll need to maintain 2 homes and 2 families? Considering Nicaragua, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador. Other ideas? Asia is too far away from our families.

I feel your pain all the way. My I-130 has been at the TSC since March and still nothing. Its so hard seeing others get their approvals so soon. I am so sorry for you. Please hang in there. Sometimes I feel they just want to take us to the breaking point. But we can't give up.
