It will take 7 - 10 days business for NVC to receive your file from USCIS after you receive the NOA2, then another 2 - 5 business days for NVC to get your file in there system and get the case # from

POE was Jan 23,2016 at around 5:40pm. I was standing there waiting for 1hr or so but she said that it was a smooth entry at LAX. no harassment or anything. This journey tested my patience to the max but it was all worth it when I saw her walking out of the airport. :wub:

I hope everyone get's to be with their other half soon! It's the best feeling ever!

POE was Jan 23,2016 at around 5:40pm. I was standing there waiting for 1hr or so but she said that it was a smooth entry at LAX. no harassment or anything. This journey tested my patience to the max but it was all worth it when I saw her walking out of the airport. :wub:

I hope everyone get's to be with their other half soon! It's the best feeling ever!

I still have one month to wait for my consulate interview. Hopefully March will be the month for us to finish this length of our journey and begin the next!

Thanks man! She used Pal aswell cost me $850.. The traffic was not that bad because it was a Saturday night but feb 5 is Friday im not sure what time your Fiancée arrival but traffic starts at 4pm to 10pm. On the weekdays -_-

We are already looking into the next step, and I understand that even if you can get the SSN, the beneficiary isn't allowed to work until they get a work permit. When you begin the Adjustment of Status Process you can also submit the Work permit and Travel permit paperwork.

Not till she gets her EAD, work authorization which typically takes about 45 to 60 days without any hitch.

Any new approvals? Our interview is coming up in just over two weeks in ciudad juarez. I'm getting both excited and nervous! I've got plane tickets to meet my future hubby there and we have a hotel already reserved. I'm still working on printing up copies of everything and making sure we have all our paperwork to take to the interview. I can't wait to see him, its been over 6 months since I saw him last.
