I got my photo album back today for some reason it was "too big" for my file. I maybe exaggerated in the pictures but come one they want proof right. This is frustrating! I am still looking out for the hard copy since I received the text and email last Thursday.

We are using the service of RapidVisa.com and they prepared the Petition for us. They asked us to be brief on our explanation of how we met and asked us just to include only 5 photographs as proof we have meet in the past 2 years, as well as boarding passes, receipts and any other document that showed I was visiting my Fiancé in the US.

They told us that we would take as much proof of the relationship (skype calls, phone registry, Chats, messages, emails, etc.) until I had the Interview on the Consulate.

Did they send you the album back through post?

This website and many others suggest about 5 pictures for proof. I'm assuming your photo album contained a lot more than that?

What we did was put about 8 labeled pictures in a plastic bag and stapled them to a blank sheet of paper (similar to the instructions for the passport photos). It was a good way to keep the photos contained while still fitting everything into an actual packet.

I got my text and email NOA-1 on October 1st and the hard copy today.

From what I have heard that is quicker than average though.

Thanks for the advice. I will send as many proofs to my fiancé once we get approved. And yeah they sent the photo album through the post office

I'm glad u all got the hard copy today!!! My stats says they mailed me the letter on the 30th.. I live in Dallas and have not received yet.. I guess post office is slow

We finally received the hard copy of our NOA1. This is my timeline so far -

I-129f sent: 24/09/2015

I-129f received by USCIS: 25/09/2015

NOA1 E-notification via text/email: 30/09/2015

NOA1 Hard Copy: In our NOA1 hard copy the notice date was 29/09/2015.

Hi everyone! I'm new on the forum..

Me and my fiancé have sent our I-129F last tuesday (Oct 6) and it was delivered on wednesday (Oct 7). So far we don't have any notice by email or text (we have sent G-1145 attached at the front of our petition), so I'm getting worried about if everything was ok.. I have looked through some of timelines here and the period between delivering and NOA1 seems quicker . Anyone here in the same situation? Or maybe i'm just freaking out...

I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. We are all freaking out until we get our fiancés here.. so don't worry. It's so hard being apart. The only thing I suggest you to do is to see if they have cashed your check. Also remember today is a holiday.

Hi everybody, We sent our i-129f packet on Oct 08 and we have not heard from them yet. We know that its too early to get anxious about everything.. We are just patiently waiting coz we know that these process will going to take longer. And GOOD LUCK to all of us k-1 filers!!!!

Hey I made it to the US to visit my love!!!

For all of you planning to visit your Fiancé / Fiancee, during your K1- process I thought it would be helpful to share with you my own experience getting into Orlando.

I am soooooooo happy to be with my darling!!

This is my experience visiting my Fiancé in Florida one day after getting our NOA1 hard copy at the mail.

I was very nervous about being harshly questioned at the POE.

I packed copies of the NOA1, of the whole K1 petition and copies of my return flight itinerary, the traveling medical insurance I bought, and letters and contracts that proved that I am working in Mexico City right now and that I have to return to my country to keep working.

It was early morning and my flight arrived to Orlando International airport. No other flight had arrived at the same time, so all POE officers were just starting the day. I was second in line.

I must say that I tried to breath as calmly as possible before they called me. "I kept saying to myself there is no reson why they shouldn't let me in".

I had heard that once you said you were visiting your fiancé and that you were in a K1 visa process, you might be taken on the side for more questions and that I shouldn't pack a lot of my personal stuff that was obviously intended for my final moving to the states. But since Shipping from Mexico to the US is so expensive I had to take my chances and brought with me 2 big bags, with clothes and other house stuff. That made me even more nervous.

I was finally called. The officer that took my visitor's visa and passport was serious but courteous. He even started to speak to me in spanish. He asked the purpose of my visit. I said that I was visit my Fiancé. He asked how many days I planned to stay. I said 5 days. He asked when was the last time I visited my Fiancé. I said in may, but we weren't engaged back then.

And just like that he approved my entrance and told me to have a nice day!!!

FIUUUUU!!!!! What a relief!

So my advice to all that are planning to travel. Bring as much proof of ties to your country as you can, be calm during your process of immigration in the POE, and be upfront about your engagement and your Immigration process.
