Hi Guys! Any early October Filers here that haven't got their NOA2 yet?

The embassy keep telling me that they havnt received my case yet,even though it was sent on the 25th november by the NVC...i also looke on the DHL website and i found out that they received it on the 1st december ...do you guys know what i can do to get my Packet 3?

OMG!!!!! Finally got NOA2!!!! Took 56 days, I almost got crazy. UUfff, now I can start enjoying Christmas and reading this forum again without feeling frustrated.

Congrats!!! Felt exactly the same way hahahaha, no more frustration, just hoping for a fast NVC process and on to the embassy

Keep in mind that a forum like this one is for initial bonding with others who are along the same timeline as you for initial processing. The initial application is the same no matter where in the world you are. But, having said that, once you get your approval (NOA2 text message or email), you should also check in with your country's sub-forum to get a better understanding of the process for the Embassy that you will be interviewing with, and to get direct answers from those who have completed the steps you are about to at the US Embassy - Australia.

Those in this thread, are applying from various Embassies around the world and there are different processes for each. So what works in Russian, Philippines or UAE may not work for those processing through the Australia Embassy. When you are at the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Australia most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

Get the Australia K1 Embassy Letter (EL) at http://canberra.usembassy.gov/nonimmigrant-visas/appointment-checklist.htmlas this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the EL as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

You can bring the DS-160 you have and have the CO update your records during the interview or you can create a new one and bring only it to the interview as they use the barcode to look up the one that you are handing to them.

Keep calling your Embassy to see if it has been received.

Just called and got my NVC case#, it was about 20 minutes wait for the rep to pick up my line, but that's tolerable.

She said my case just got processed yesterday, it should be sent out to embassy by next week.

I think it is decent speed for now, considering my case was approved on Nov. 30th, so I'm happy

Just wanted to clarify my next step, hope you can help me if I'm missing anything.

So I just got my NVC case# and Invoice ID# over the phone, the agent stated they might send it out to the embassy by next week.

To my understanding, I think my next step would be:

• Collect and send all documents mentioned in the http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide under "What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2)"
• Have my fiance or help him to complete DS-160 online and pay the fees

Fiance did her medical exams in São Paulo today. She said it was cake! It was so easy. Now our next step will be the interview on the 5th. This is getting closer to the end. I can't wait

Hi if you click on my timeline in the left side of my username I have dates for everything. I submitted my application on Sept 26 and got my NOA1 on Sept 29th.

You can do either as it has no bearing on anything except it has to be completed prior to the interview. Your choice.
