Awww. How come this people got their case numbers already? ? We got the same time lines. But mine is a day ahead of yours. Am calling NVC and they've been telling me that our case isn't in their system yet. And wait 35 days and can again. ?

Still no word on NOA2 :( I'll probably get a RFE since it is taking so "long" (compared to others at CSC hahaha)

but to my knowledge we filled everything out correctly, added proof that we have met in the past 2 years and thought we have a pretty easy case without previous marriages, no criminal records, etc...

Hoping I get something today!!!!

Got the RFE notification yest 12/3. finally I heard something. My application is pretty simple as well but I think I know why. My itenarary did not show the year we met, and I did not add passport stamps so I am guessing that's the problem, though I added just about everything else including pics with the year on it.

It should be in my mailbox soon but not for sure what the RFE is.

Best wishes and i hope you get a reply soon. I know it's coming!

Haven't heard anything from USCIS too. It's been 43 days from NOA1.

Makes me frustrated too. We tripled check everything, plus. I wonder why our cases take so long.

Are they for further review? Or just dumped on the table? We don't know.... Grrr.

All we can do is patient. Let's hope we hear some good news before the holidays...

Hoping our cases will move as well. Best of luck!

it's been 50 days today... getting desperate. already hoping at least for RFE - to know that at least someone touched our case!!

Oh i'm sorry, i wish i knew how they order things for processing, its enough to drive you nuts not having a clue what is happening!

I know that we were getting frustrated for the NOA1 as folk with dates after ours were getting approved

I think we were just blessed that the first time I called we got the case number, maybe I should buy a lottery ticket as that was amazing luck

Fingers crossed you get yours really soon :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Same situation here. my noa1 was October 13. Still waiting for noa2. There are days that I feel depressed even though I'm trying to keep my hopes up. Im still positive but sometimes it's just frustrating being in this waiting game. I added 4 years worth of evidences. I believe that's more than enough.

I guess it is different for each individual case, there are averages but not all will fall into it, I am pleased I got mine and that it is on its way to the consulate please keep the faith if need be escalate to a supervisor to find out specifically the reason for the delay best of luck.

My Fiancée is scheduled for interview on the 23 as well! Might be a chance they both get the same flight! ^_^

Sorry I wasn't here to answer your question. If you quote me then I will get a notification and I will answer ASAP otherwise, I am monitoring 7 different threads (Phil, July, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov and now Dec. The answer to your question, and you didn't give many details, but I am assuming you want to travel together when she is approved. The answer is yes. But, (sorry had to be a BUT) if depends your schedule and the Embassy's schedule. You don't know when she will receive her visa so you really can't schedule your flight. If you have time and you think you will be attending the interview then I would say, normally a two month stay would give you that opportunity.

Blueinstinct, on 03 Dec 2015 - 6:13 PM, said:

Likewise. Also with the LAX POE. If she gets the visa on Jan I'll prolly fly her out ASAP..

Did your Fiancée showed the screen shot of her case to st lukes and copy of receipt mrv for verification?

Screen shot is ok to show to SLEC

I got a letter from nvc with mnl number on it b4 thanksgiving day and i scanmail it to her..yes they asked for visa receipt also. Tell her to register online at st lukes website and print it out.

Oh #######! Was I supposed to wait for that letter before I scheduled the interview? I need to double check on Greenbaum's link when I get home I swear I saw something regarding that and that it's cool for my Fiancée to just screen shot the status of her case online.

You don't have to wait for any letter. Yes, I outline how to move forward without "the letter". Check my website.

EliYan, on 03 Dec 2015 - 6:55 PM, said:

She can use the screen shot if you dont have the letter with mnl number yet. You should be able to get the letter frm nvc in the mail this wk or maybe nxt wk.

No one case is the same. Yours is different then someone else. Your backgrounds are different, your countries are different your bio is different. You can't use the argument that "you were first and why are they" just for the reasons I give.

Have some patience you will have your soon. Do you have an account at myUSCIS or have the phone app. Did you begin calling after NOA2 after 2 weeks? Start calling NVC after two weeks of getting your NOA2 and yes, they will tell you 35 days as that is their standard answer if they have not created a case number. Keep trying.

I heard it on the news that uscis is going to be more strict about handling K-1 visa processing because of san bernardino shooting incident!????

I hope not. It's not fair to us. I heard about the female terrorist that she came on a K1 visa. That's not fair to us! Good luck to all of us and our future spouses :)

Hi all,

My fiancé and I are in the last process on submitting the 160 form. Somehow the "previous work experience and education" are hidden. We have tried 4 times putting in the information and it never shows up. We have saved it, we have clicked next. Everything but never shows up in the review section and once we go back to the page it's all gone. Has anyone encounter the same problem? Can anyone advise on this matter. Thank you!
