Yes I got that speech every single time! Some of them said you can keep calling if you like. But always asking to consider the 35 day possibility.

I'm happy that they were kind enough to give me all the info they provided.

And you are right it is a patience journey, but when you hear people getting results quicker than you it gets stressful.

This forum is a double edge knife. It is a blessing to have all the support and insight of others that are having or had the same journey that you have, but at the same time it makes you second guess yourself if you are doing things right.

The truth is that I do appreciate VJ a lot!!! I'm so glad it crossed my path on our journey.

I talked to my Fiancé this morning and we both agreed we have a lot to be thankful for. I think we might be looking into a late January, early February wedding. How exciting!!

I got my NOA1 last October 13th and I thought I would get my NOA2 sometime around Nov 12-14, but until now I haven't got the NOA2. *getting worried*

Everyone's case is different. Each is vetted on their own. One person can have many issues in their background, others a clean slate. If your from one country, it may take longer then another country.

If your documents are in good order there should be no problem in getting approved. You just have to have patience. Remember, EVERY step of the way your going to have to wait. You just have to except it and KEEP BUSY.

If you are getting worried then stay off VJ till you get your notice. If you are here everyday, of course your going to hear about others who have been approved before you. That's the nature of the beast (VJ).

I called the NVC yesterday and was on hold for about 20 minutes, unfortunately the call disconnected just as someone answered and I didn't have time to wait on hold again. I called back today, waited about 20 minutes as well and they said my case arrived the day before yesterday and they gave me my case number. I checked that ceac website and it says:

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

Well I'm glad that it is in transit! although they didnt actually give me an interview date, I'm pretty sure I have to schedule that through Juarez.

I'm very happy that we are making progress! I think we are almost at the point where we can schedule biometrics, health, and interview! At least I hope...

I am at the same page with you. Our NOA1 was 10/20. It gets me frustrated knowing that others who filed later are already approved.

I am at the same page with you. Our NOA1 was 10/20. It gets me frustrated knowing that others who filed later are already approved.

Are you at California Service Center?

Yes. The petition was directed to California service center. It's just frustrating. I can't plan ahead. And winter is coming here in Korea. It's hard to go out in the near future to arrange papers. I was expecting I can wrap up everything before the winter comes.

This is what the Consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico says about the Invoice ID #:

"Fill out the DS-160* Applicants must fill out and submit the form online. Print the confirmation page and bring this page to your interview.

*Please note: Cases with no NVC Invoice number may enter the applicant's date of birth in the following format - YYYYMMDD- as a substitute invoice number."
