Thanks guys! I hope all us Oct filers don't get an RFE! ^_^

Once you have your case number you do not have to wait to schedule your appointment at USEM Philippines. But you are correct, sometimes it takes up to 24 hours before your visa payment has posted and the calendar for open appoints is accessible to you. Follow the step by step instructions for processing through the Philippines from the red twisting arrow below. I outline how to avoid the "gotchas" and to keep moving forward with ease. Look for the tab "NVC to USEM" and begin the process. Make sure you get the Embassy Letter and follow it as all that you need for the interview is contained in that letter.

Be sure to go over to the sub-forum for the Philippines as many questions are being asked and answered. Good luck.

Sooo helpful! Thank you for this. I'll be checking out the PH forum and see what's going on. Not sure how long would it take from this point till her entry but I'm hoping it'll be quick ^_^

It's getting frustrating having a phone by your face all the time. Ugh. This waiting part is terrible, I do a lot of things to keep myself busy but it always just ends up me missing him. It's been 8days from the day he received the NOA1 hard copy. 8days felt like months, ???? Congrats to everyone who got their cases approved already. Still waiting on ours to get to that point.

Wow that's unreal! I'll buy lotto next thing if that was me. But here's something I've learned while waiting for my Noa2.

-In 1916 an elephant named Mary was hanged for murder.

-When a cockroach touches a human it washes itself coz they feel dirty.

What do you guys think of that? Lol

A question about calling NVC, people have said that it takes around 20 days from your NOA2 for them to receive and process your case and assign a case number. Is that 20 business days or calendar days?

Also anyone have the number for NVC (and the calling tree shortcuts - if they exist)? I'm under the weather right now and feel too lazy to check :sleepy:

What are we supposed to say when we call? I recall seeing that we need the USC name and b-day and the beneficiaries name and b-day, plus your USCIS case number I guess? Anything else?

Is it weird for the beneficiary to be the one calling? My fiance works full time so he won't be available to call but I work in the evenings so I can spam them.

I sent my submission 10/30/2015, got my NOA1 on 11/6/2015, case being processed by CSC. VJ estimate my NOA2 to arrive around 12/7/2015...I hope this is really the case. Long distant relationship is so hard. Even with us seeing and talking through FaceTime daily, texting via iMessage, and emailing daily. We'll be traveling together during xmas, which is only 5 week away but I am so anxious to get our case approved so we can be in the same country, city, home. ???

Please update this thread if anyone does get their NOA2 as estimated.
