I get a little stressed watching someone with a later NOA1 date get approved. I am happy for them but at the same time start getting worried about mine. There is nothing we can do but wait.

I know what you mean. Looking at so many cases approved that were received after us was getting super stressful. I was getting worried so much.

But as the saying "Watched pot never boils", as soon as my Fiancé arrived I stopped checking obsessively the app and funny enough that is when we got the approval via e-notification before we got the app notification.

What if you don't have a copy of the whole i129f package? O.o

We are using the service of Rapidvisa.com and they asked us to make 2 copies of the whole package before sending it.

I will review it before my interview in the US consulate in Mexico.

And I had it with me when I traveled to the US in case the immigration officer asked about our process in the POE in Orlando. (I wasn't asked for it in the end).

I came across this forum said that you don't have to wait for embassy to send you a letter.. once you have your case number..wait for 2 wks then you can pay your visa fee...then wait til 4hr to 24hrs then you can call the embassy for schedule for interview. Good luck to all of us!

Yes you don't need to wait for the letter but it will be delivered by post.

No NOA2 yet but I have stopped checking my status like a maniac lol.

Btw, doesn't the consulate send an email to the petitioner instead of regular mail to the beneficiary when they receive your petition which contain further instructions. I guess every consulate has different procedures. I would be personally worried about regular mail cuz its very unreliable here.

You will not need your I-12-f package. Get the Embassy Letter for the Philippines and wherein you will find ONLY the required documents for your interview. Nothing more and nothing less.

I do not have knowledge of the process for Mexico. Go to the Embassy webpage for your country that you will process through and you will find a wealth of information as to what, where and how for your interview.

I know what you mean. Postal services in Mexico are terrible. I'm not sure if the consulate here, sends the instructions to the beneficiary or the petitioner, but it is via post. If we don't get it in time, I read that I can go to the consulate's customer service and ask for a copy of it before the medical and the interview.

I read that somebody in Italy got their interview scheduled in Italy after only 2 weeks of getting their NOA2. Looking at statistics in Mexico it is possible I'll get mine in 2 months (by the end of January or the beginning of February). My Fiancé and I will start preparing the Affidavit of support this week.

I hope you get your NOA2 soon. Ours took 37 days, and by the end it was better for me not to obsess with it. My Fiancé reassured me saying don't worry, it will come when it need to come.

I started getting information from my Fiancé to start filling the Affidavit and start gathering documents.

Any new NOA2s? I'm still impatiently waiting for mine. And while I was on my phone texting earlier today the stupid app sent me a notification and I got all excited thinking it was my NOA2 and it was just something about a bulletin being added ?

APPROVED!!!!! 41 days later NOA2 notification came today!!!!!!!! It's a 3 hour difference and I just had to call my fiancé to tell her. Cheers

AHHHHH!!!!! ????? NOA2 from the app just came through. Oh my goodness I'm in tears. I just had to FaceTime Lee to let him know. He was asleep, but happy to be woken up with this news. Oh my word I'm excited.
