The case is sent to to the NVC.

I've read that it is possible to call them after 2 weeks that you got your NOA2, to get your case number with them.

That way you can follow the process on the next steps.

You need to also start preparing the affidavit of support.

The petitioner should get a letter from the NVC and the beneficiary will get a letter from the embassy.

Time to prepare for the interview (medical exam, copy of the I-129F package, etc.)

Hope this helps.

The VJ guide is very helpful so take a look at it:

What if you don't have a copy of the whole i129f package? O.o

I came across this forum said that you don't have to wait for embassy to send you a letter.. once you have your case number..wait for 2 wks then you can pay your visa fee...then wait til 4hr to 24hrs then you can call the embassy for schedule for interview. Good luck to all of us!

I get a little stressed watching someone with a later NOA1 date get approved. I am happy for them but at the same time start getting worried about mine. There is nothing we can do but wait.

APPROVED!!!!!

I was soooo stressed because the VJ estimate said we should've gotten it last week. I was getting so worried.

But last night as I was holding my Fiancé's hand, we got the e-notificiation. NOA2 approved!!!

We kissed we hold each other feeling such happiness.

What a great way to get the news with him visiting me in Mexico.

We are so blessed. (L) (L) (L) (L) (L) (L) (L) (L)

Its glad to see you finally got approved. Congragulations :joy:

Hey, that's natural. It's tough to be happy for someone else while you are waiting for your approval. I hope you get it soon.

Once you have your case number you do not have to wait to schedule your appointment at USEM Philippines. But you are correct, sometimes it takes up to 24 hours before your visa payment has posted and the calendar for open appoints is accessible to you. Follow the step by step instructions for processing through the Philippines from the red twisting arrow below. I outline how to avoid the "gotchas" and to keep moving forward with ease. Look for the tab "NVC to USEM" and begin the process. Make sure you get the Embassy Letter and follow it as all that you need for the interview is contained in that letter.

Be sure to go over to the sub-forum for the Philippines as many questions are being asked and answered. Good luck.

You will not need your I-12-f package. Get the Embassy Letter for the Philippines and wherein you will find ONLY the required documents for your interview. Nothing more and nothing less.

Should i send the original copy of noa2 to my fiance??

She does not need the original a copy will be find. Scan it and email it to her. BTW it's easier if you have a cloud account with someone like Google Drive, DropBox or Just Cloud. Deposit copies of all your documents there and both of you have access at anytime for a document you may need. Other suggestions and help can be found in the link at the twisting arrow.

The petitioner should get a letter from the NVC and the beneficiary will get a letter from the embassy. FOR THE PHILIPPINES EMBASSY, THEY ARE NOW SENDING AN EMAIL FOR THE P3.

Time to prepare for the interview (medical exam, copy of the I-129F package, etc.) I-129F IS NOT NEEDED FOR THE PHILIPPINES INTERVIEW. BENEFICIARY NEEDS TO DOWNLOAD A COPY OF THE EMBASSY LETTER AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. EACH EMABSSY IS DIFFERENT IN THEIR REQUIRMENTS.

Hope this helps.

The VJ guide is very helpful so take a look at it: THE VJ GUIDE CAN BE HELPFUL, BUT REMEMBER IT IS NOT EMBASSY SPECIFIC, AND THEREFORE DOES NOT PROVIDE EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED TO PROCESS THROUGH YOUR EMBASSY. THAT IS WHY I CREATED A WEBSITE FOR FILIPINOS PROCESSING THROUGH USEM TO HELP AVOID THE "GOTCHAS" AND TO MAKE THE JOURNEY WITH LITTLE OR NO HICUPS.

Ooo we are the same noa1 date

How do you check online, I go to the USCIS site and put our receipt no in and it says received :(

Get the phone app and register at myUSCIS.com. Links are below in my signature box. The app is a killer app for this process. No more calling or checking websites. As soon as your case has changed the app will send you an alarm. Check and there you have it.
