Randomly woke up in the middle of the night and obsessively checked my Case Status...

APPROVED!!

Received (online) date: Sep 28th

NOA1 (hardcopy) date: Sep 30th

NOA2 date: Nov 2nd

Was worried we'd be the last ones to go from late September dates, but we're finally moving forward :-D

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

 

K1 process

9/24/15: I129f sent

9/30/15: NOA1

11/2/15: NOA2

Delayed processing due to work

3/15/16: Medical

4/28/16: Interview (approved)

Delayed entry due to work

8/12/16: POE Detroit

 

9/4/16: Wedding!

 

AOS process:

9/9/16: I485/I131/I765 sent

9/14/16: Received 3xNOAs by text/e-mail (day 2)

9/14-18/16: Received 3xpaper NOAs 

9/23/16: Received biometrics appointment letter (day 11)

10/3/16: Biometrics appointment (day 19)

11/4/16: EAD+AP approved (day 53)

11/16/16: EAD status changed to card shipped (day 65)

11/17/16: EAD/AP combo card received (day 66)

12/30/16: Notice of interview scheduled (day 109)

2/1/17: AOS interview (day 142) - APPROVED

2/8/17: GC received (day 150)

 

ROC process:

11/3/2018: ROC window opens

It will take 7 - 10 days business for NVC to receive your file from USCIS after you receive the NOA2, then another 2 - 5 business days for NVC to get your file in there system and get the case # from

Our I-129F packet was mailed out on Sept. 29th and received today Oct. 1st. I guess that technically makes me an October filer? Thanks for opening this group. My fiance' and I met online via Faceb

Finally, after lurking on this forum for longer than I dare admit, I'm now officially petitioned for! We got our e-notification Oct 1st and heading for CSC. Good luck to all of us :-)

While you are waiting to get your MNL# after approval you might head over to the sub-forum for the Philippines. Lots of great information their also to be had. I have a website dedicated to the K-1 process (Philippines) which will lead you through the processing at USEM and includes the many "gotchas" that you may run in and you can avoid, thus keeping your journey pot hole free. Website is in the signature below at the twisting arrow.

Another tip, get the embassy letter and begin to gather the documents you will need for the interview. Only those items listed in the Manila Embassy Letter are needed. The letter will make your journey that much easier.

For other reading this, you should also find your sub-forum and be apart of it and go to your Embassy's website and become familiar with the processing and also, they may have a letter outlining the document requirements for processing through your country.

Also, if you have already done so, use the links in my signature to get the phone app and register at myUCIS as they are great tools to have to track your progress each step of the way.

Good luck to all and remember this is a marathon and not a race so your patience will be tested many times over.

Anyone know if theres an app for android or any tool for PC where one can check lots of case statuses at the same time? Like the one some users use here for iphone where they can see up to 500 cases?

Anyone know if theres an app for android or any tool for PC where one can check lots of case statuses at the same time? Like the one some users use here for iphone where they can see up to 500 cases?

There is an android app, but it does not do the "scanning" like the iPhone app.

(You can enter a bunch of numbers if you want)

im gonna wait 10 working days.. before to call to get my MCN... another day to wait... :clock: lol

Constantly nagging my fiance to make sure he is working on getting everything together as well haha
