Ah why did someone tell me about the tracking app! Now I'm obsessing over it! :energy:

Also what does it mean when it says "Pending" on the iPad USCIS app?

Jannina, were are you getting all that detailed info?

I started searching for cases around us and started to keep record of them, thinking it might give me peace of mine...boy was I wrong!!

Now that cases before and after us are being approved or getting an RFE, I am a mess waiting for some change in our status. Every day that passes I get more and more stressed.

And yes in order to keep records you need to be super obsessive. Hahahahaha That's me!!!

I might not even look again until monday and try to be realxed during the weekend. Let's hope I can actually achieve that.

Hi Harrisonanna.

How do you know that, there were few NOA2 delivered.? Thanks for ALl

I have the USCIS case tracker app for my smartphone. You can enter hundreds of reference numbers and see the status (and receive a notification alert) of each as they change. There is also a search function you can use by entering a case number and searching up to 500(?) cases after that number to see the status. Each "day" has thousands of statuses so it's a good indication on if they are working on them or not. Good luck.

I've downloaded this app and all I see is Received, Pending, or Fee pay (or other status' that are for other non K visa forms)

Does pending mean NOA2? Or on the app does it say that the K1 visa is approved?

Also I can't seem to find any case numbers that are from a different day than mine. My case number doesn't conform to the breakdown provided on VJ (like I have 900 as my workday number!)

Any tips to finding other case numbers that came in a couple days before mine?

A quick update:

Looking this morning there were quite a few NOA2's delivered last night for receipt numbers close to mine. My date is October 2nd. I had a slough of notifications from my case tracker app. I have about 100 each way of mine with approvals coming on both sides. In the Sept Filer Forum there are still quite a few people waiting but as far as I can tell they have begun approving cases from the first few days of October.

UPDATE to the update:

A few more changed status to approval at exactly 10pm EST. The notifications showed up on my phone one after another. Unfortunately not mine, but they are officially working on "Received September 30th" (my noa1 date was Oct 2)

There are different cases such as EAD, IR1-CR1, Temporary status and so on that are sent to CSC where they are assigned numbers. So for example your case number is WAC123456789 the case next to you might be I130 or EAD. Now every different case has different steps, some cases show payment status while others show they are sent to local office.

As far I am aware, the only two statuses shown for k1 are 'case recieved' and 'case approved'. Case approved means now it would get sent to NVC and you will get your NOA2 in a few days. That's where your journey with USCIS ends.

I regret not putting in the enotification stuff in the package ? I read it was only for people who will be sending their packets to the lockbox facility. We sent it through ExpressMail which arrived in Texas at about 11am day after we sent it.. Still waiting on NOA1 ??
