I called, and was not asked if I was the petitioner or the beneficiary. (I'm the beneficiary)

They asked for a case number, I gave the USCIS receipt #, next they asked me to read them the first paragraph of the approval notice, (I guess that is because our case wasn't in their system yet.) Finally they asked for the date of the approval and mentioned that I needed to wait 35 days.

So of course I'll call back tomorrow...hahahahaha

:goofy:

Ahahaha i would do the same :)

Isn't the K-1 Visa an immigrant case? That s why I dialed 603-334-0700

When I gave them the USCIS receipt number they attended my call with no trouble. Should I have called the 603-334-0888 instead?

The first time I called 603-334-0888 i waited for only a minute before somebody attended my call thats why i've been using that number since then.. and also as far as i know k-1 is a non immigrant case..

We got our case number from NVC after 10 days too. We actually called the non immigrant one because there is only one number to hit to talk to someone. We got our case number on the first try though and waited like 3-4 minutes so not much experience to share.

Well I read that our forms is given to different officers in that service center for reviewing. The previous cases that they're handling are the ones that usually prolongs the process most specially if the case they're dealing with has lots of stuff to review. Just be petient. You'll get an approval soon. You will just be surprised
