If Approved, Will We Get 2 Or 10 Year GC?

Hello All,

Quick question:

My husband entered on VWP in June of this year. Due to some unexpected medical issues, we decided he would need to stay and not return to the UK as he normally did. We filed all our concurrent paperwork in August, but I was confused as to know if approved would he receive the 2 or 10 year GC. We will be celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary in 18 days on the 19th of October, so I'm not sure if they calculate the 2 years from the date he entered the US or would they use the date we get our case approved? Any help greatly appreciated!

I thought they only count by the marriage date. If it is less than 2 years by the day of issuance, your GC will be conditional.

He will receive the 10 year card if you have been married for 2 years once you get approved...Peeps that wasn't married for 2 years at the time of approval but had been by the time of poe will also get the 10 year card
