In all serious, we now have zero reason for involvement. The original goal was to keep sea lanes and oil fields open. When a country threatened an oil exporter the US got involved (Iraq 1.0). When a a country started attacking shipping, the US got involved (Iran).

Now, all of these countries are economic enemies and are in collusion to kill US oil producers. Its time the US stops being Saudi Arabia's lap dog in the area. Because frankly they've screwed us over too many times.

I find it laughable when anyone here proposes that America should be more like Russia... They flee their totalitarian governments, come to America, even illegally, only to reminisce of how good it all was back in the old country... [insert facepalm here]
