Can we all just drop it already? I mean why prolong the discussion? No one is going to back down and say that they are the problem so what's the point? It's not going to bring JP and others back. Hopefully they will come back over time when they've cooled down a bit. I think everyone needs a break from this place at one point or another. I know I've taken a few myself and when I come back it's with a new perspective.

I apologize for having contributed to this argument and prolonging the Thursday thread since of course it's Saturday!!!

hmm...i think this forum might be officially ruined. i know i'm the newbie here but, wow! can't you guys drop it already? we get it. you dislike each other. you don't see eye to eye. and you apparently never will. so move on! i didn't know about this ignore feature before but i think it would come in handy for those of you who can't stand each other..... sigh.

I agree, just drop it! Do you really need to carry on these personal grudges ad nauseum through the forum? Everyone involved here has valuable advice and insights to add to our collective wisdom. There's no need to keep trying to one-up each other. It would be a shame for all that is good that you contribute to be lost to other members of this forum just because you can't find peace with each other. Try just ignoring the people who annoy you to the point you need to post to each other endlessly. There are certainly people on here who say things that annoy me but when I find myself wanting to fire off a smart-alek response I just stop myself and leave the site for a while. Maybe that wouldn't work for everyone, but if you could find something else to do with yourself other than angry retorts all the time this forum would be a lot more fun. Challenging each others' beliefs is good and useful, but these personal attacks are just pointless and drive away good people.

BTW, I don't know if anyone noticed, or if anyone cares, but Private left, too. She had a really frustrating and hard case, was really stressed out, and could use more support. I tried to help her and give her encouragement, but, on the boards, she was made fun of and dismissed, so, she finally got fed up and closed her account. Not everyone makes an announcement or has someone make an announcement for them when they leave. There are probably more than we know of.

Maybe she also left because she broke up with her Moroccan fiance to find a man who could satisfy her. So much for true love

I think it is just TERRIBLE that anyone here or anywhere would take something a someone here posted on another forum and comment about here. I thought this is visa board. SHe asked about something she wanted, needed to know about on a ISLAMIC board...something that concerns ISLAM, not VJ.

True, www is public buuuuuut very sad for anyone to repost her comment. People here I *know* take things out of context here. Happened to me many times here.

ANd I agree with kerewin, let us juste drop it....enjoy the INS informaiton we can get from this forum... and just remember all this can and is ineternet stalking, pyschocial abuse and slander!

It is such a frustrating embassy to deal with.....and I am grateful for the help I've gotten from this forum.....and just knowing that I'm not the only one playing the waiting game helps to keep me sane.

I plan on sticking around for awhile at least to help those out who are going through Cairo. It's such a frustrating embassy to deal with that I'd hate for ppl to go through it blind. Support is always needed to deal with them. I know I'm extremely grateful for all the support I've gotten here.
