F1 Administrative Processing 3 months, No Update

Hi, I applied for US F1 visa almost 3 months ago. First my interview was delayed because of some system problems with the US Visa Systems. I had my interview on 6th of July, things went fine but at the end of the interview the VO gave me 221(g). I recieved an e-mail before on 28th June from SEVIS I believe requiring me to give about details regarding my father. They asked for his name, place of birth (PoB), Date of birth (DoB), father's and mother's name and PoB and DoB. My dad served in the army, was a doctor. He has been retired for past 8 years (though almost everyone I know studying in the US even people who were in my grade had military backgroud).

It has been 3 months (almost) and there have been no update on CEAC website of anykind, even the status update date hasn't changed its the same as the date it was created on.

Both dates are 6th July 2015.

Hope someone can share their experience (possibly with positive results).

Regards,
Some Random Guy.

They should already have all that kind of information regarding your dad from your DS-160.... I would call the Embassy letting them know that the clock is ticking and you are very concerned about your status since you have already provided them with the information needed. Don't just wait for them. It happened to me too, but it was on an immigrant visa... The embassy kinda forgot what they were doing and I ended up spending more time in my home country after the interview than needed. Thus, I would definitely advise you to get in touch with them.
