wife freaking out about Naturalization Test

Hello,

Next tuesday is my wife US Naturalization Test (Civic, Reading, Writing). A girl on fb failed and now she is nervous. She has been studying all 100 questions for 4 days straight. She set-up index cards for all questions. She has been using the audio CD in car. She is familiar with information on N-400. I saw on website that 91% pass this test. Anything else she can do to prepare and feel confident?

Try to relax. I was SO nervous at my interview that I over thought many of the questions.

Why did the girl on FB fail? There are many reasons that have nothing to do with the interview, like did the girl travel too much out of the country? Did she have an arrest she did not disclose?

Don't overstudy. By that I mean, when there are are multiple answers (name a state bordering Canada), just memorise one.

Have her take a quiz online, there are many to self test and if she passes them she may be more confident.

The best way to pass a very important event, is to stress out as much as possible at all times of day. Then, take the test.

My wife is also has a interview for her united states citizenship in two weeks. What I did was make believe that I was the IO and I interview my wife. I did this every two days and its helping her. I hope your wife pass and also my wife.

When my wife first got here, she didnt know where the Atlantic Ocean was even. She went over and over one of those online tests, where you can review it over and over, interactive with questions and answers. She would hear the question, then she would answer. I would then play the answer for her. If she got any of the answer wrong, I would write it down on paper. That way we began to eliminate what she knew, and only kept reviewing the ones she got wrong. We also made a review sheet for the political leaders of our state. We live in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, so below was our review sheet for that, and she passed with flying colors. Oh, the IO threw a question out there too, "What president of the United States was Abraham Lincoln?" She was supposed to give the number, but then the IO said he was just kidding, that he asks everyone that and it wasnt part of the test.
