I do not know where is poverty guid line in my income tax

I just wonder about sponsor for somebody. I saw the poverty guild line 2015 .and I saw how much is that.. And I want to check in my tax income ID . they have 2 parts. One is total income or adjust gross income..I want to know which one. Somebody help me please. Thanks alot

What needs to meet the 125% poverty level is your current income (salary of your current jobs), not anything from tax returns.

I think OP means where they can check to find their total income - perhaps they don't know.

From the 1040, total income will be Line 22; adjusted gross income will be line 37. OP should rely on the value of Line 7 on Form 1040 (wages/salaries/tips) in determining eligibility for meeting poverty guidelines as some of the items feeding into total income won't apply (tax refunds come to mind). However, depending on the OPs circumstances, business income, social security income, rental income, etc. may be useful.

I'm not familiar with IRS Forms 1040A and 1040EZ, but while the line numbers may differ, the terminology will be the same.

No. You don't compare anything on the 1040 with the poverty guidelines. You compare your current income (the salary of your current job(s)) with the poverty guidelines.
