Scan date - Sept. 10, hubby received a false checklist ( through email ) regarding my DS260 - Oct. 6, put on supervisor's review - Oct. 10, CASE COMPLETE - Oct. 29!!! Now, just waiting for my interview to be scheduled. Anybody here had theirs at the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE or still waiting?! Feed backs and advices about time frames and the interview itself would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello. First, thank you for putting that spreadsheet together. It is very helpful. I have a question about the spreadsheet. How accurate is the "Interview Date Scheduled" column? Most people have that date just a few days after CC date. In one instance recently, just 1 day after cc. I'm wondering if those are people's actual dates? I'm trying to estimate when I can expect to hear about the interview.. once I know when the interview is schedule for then I can make my plans accordingly. My cc date is oct 29, when can I expect to hear about the interview schedule? A few days?

I requested a medical expedited on 10/8 and my request was received on 10/14 and approved on 10/18. My case was sent to Dakar and has been showing ready since 10/26

I'm hoping to hear from the Dakar Embassy very soon in reference to an Interview.

So I got a checklist but the OK kind that says fill out your form correctly and bring it to your interview that we will schedule.

I have to do some more digging in here because it's to do with the household size thing in the I-864 that seems to trip so many people up. I've reviewed what we sent and I think it's correct, but they don't seem to think so. But meanwhile they did say they're going to schedule the interview, so at least I can stop worrying that the case isn't really complete!

And if the worst thing we got wrong was that household size item, then I think we're doing OK!

I got something similarly weird. I was told on the phone yesterday that the case was complete and that we had already been through the worst part. The rep informed me that the next step is interview scheduling. Today, I got an email saying that there is a checklist and that they need more financial evidence but it seems they are going to schedule the interview anyway and we have to bring evidence to the interview. I'm confused, as I don't understand my i-864 had sufficient income and all requirements but the checklist says that it is insufficient I need someone from NVC to explain to me what exactly is insufficient and why am I being asked to get a co-sponsor. It's like they just want to make things unnecessarily complicated when all the requirements are there.

What the hell? I'm getting really frustrated now. First this whole process is unnecessarily too long. First they take 6 months to perform a 15 min review of the petition. And then NVC and when you provide everything they need they still checklist you unnecessarily. It's like...... anything can do to keep families apart Ridiculous.
