im keeping checking my status and it says"in transit" , so wwhen it will be change??and how i would know ??

When the embassy receives and logs into the system then it change to READY.

My husband flew to the USA and we married a couple weeks later. We sent in the AOS package and payment and did the biometric appt. He was with me 4 months when there was a grave family emergency back

It's just my opinion...but looking at the status over and over and over again seems pointless and only adds to the stress. One day we see 3 N/A, another day we see "PAID" the next day it's 3 N/A agai

DWheels76 explained this, but I'll try again. If you sent ORIGINAL documents to NVC, then NVC has forwarded these to the Embassy or Consulate. You are not required to bring any more originals to you

and i dont understand how to fix the documents, in the letter p4 they are talking about the documents status , documents name and document stauts code definitions, please explain that to me

what do u mean fix. Follow the code it tells. Basically you need to being all the originals to interview if you sent copes to NV and bring whatever else you need to bring to show a bonafide relationship. Just slow down read the code its pretty self explanatory.

the document name is Financial evidence and document status is "y", so and about about the document stauts code definistion says Y means that the NVC sent this form or ducument to the us embassy or consulate ,

so should i bring the original documents of financial or no ??!!!!

DWheels76 explained this, but I'll try again. If you sent ORIGINAL documents to NVC, then NVC has forwarded these to the Embassy or Consulate. You are not required to bring any more originals to your interview.

BUT....everyone here will tell you to bring COPIES of everything you sent to NVC, just in case. So bring a COPY of the financial documents if you sent ORIGINALS to NVC. Bring ORIGINALS if you sent COPIES of things to NVC.

I received interview p4 letter from Nvc but I have doubts.

1.Is nvc interview letter valid for medical appointment or we need one from embassy? as in instructions I read they require original interview letter.

2. can I take medical and biometrics appointment right away or I have to wait till my case reaches embassy in mumbai. ceac still shows at nvc. I created profile for biometrics. unsure how to schedule the appointment I can't see dates. it says the earliest date available is 26 Oct.

The worst part is that nobody can tell you for sure.... But a month to 2 months waiting time is quite regular.

Congratulations you are added to the spreadsheet. Remember to update your timeline.

Also you can;t do anything about requesting earlier date until your case gets to embassy and logged in.So until your status changes to READY you have to sit and wait. Probably another 2 to 3 weeks it will ship put so keep checking.

Have no idea you have no profile or timeline so don't know what embassy you speak of.

By the way have you checked your inbox this weekend. Those with your same CC got their interview scheduled Friday. You may have also I would check. I am assuming you are Pakistan I see city Islamabad, South Carolina , hmmmmm. Could you put up your flag also. Thank you

Usually takes a day to two after the CC. The interview date depends on your embassy trend. For Pakistan, probably sometime in the first week of Dec.

1NOA: 27th Feb. 2015
