Thanx for replying lowlie, but my case was completed on Sept 25, I have confirmed this on the phone.

What I want to know is that why AOS Fee changed to N/A now, after so many days.

I'll re-post a reply I gave to this same subject a few days ago.....

>> It's just my opinion...but looking at the status over and over again seems pointless and only adds to the stress.

One day we see 3 N/A, another day we see "PAID" the next day it's 3 N/A again...but what difference does that make if we already know for a fact that we have case complete? Why look at the N/As again at all after we've confirmed our case is complete? <<

If you confirmed you had CC on Sep 25, then you have nothing to worry about. It's not like NVC will say, "Oops, sorry, not case complete after all.".....when it's complete, it's DONE.

Next step is your interview. I hope you have your interview soon and good luck! (F)

It was scheduled on Oct 9th. The P4 letter was dated on the 12th, we saw it was in transit on the 14th, and I don't know how soon it changed to "ready" because I didn't look again until just now. But supposed it happened to change today...that would have been one week, but I have no way to know if it changed to "ready" sooner. The interview is 29 days away.

You were very thorough!

Go over your P4 interview letter one more time anyway, just to be doubly sure you missed nothing which they specified in the letter.

Organize it all very well and you're good to go!

May you come out of there with fantastic news to share. :-)

Thank you alot Lowlie, i will be glad to tell you for sure, we sent original transcript to the NVC and in my interview letter they said that they sent all AOS evidence to the embassy, is it okey for me to take only a photocopy of the transcript?

Take copies if you don't have the originals. If it's tax transcripts. you can go to the IRS website and get them again.

We sent old I-864 to NVC, but will take the latest version of I-864 to the interview, just in case the consulate asks for it. I sent original new I-864 to my husband exactly 30 days ago and he still hasn't received the package, so I think it was lost. The P4 letter doesn't request the latest version, so I don't know if I should do yet another I-864 and send it or just have my husband print out copies of it and take along to the interview. Our budget is extremely tight, and sending documents there quickly isn't exactly cheap.

Got the medical exam appointment and it's just the day prior to the interview. We would have scheduled sooner, but my husband was calling unsuccessfully many times per day since the day we learned of our interview . That's sure cutting things awfully close.

If you don't have two originals that is the only option. You can show them the interview letter saying that NVC sent if they ask again for originals. The interview letter will not mention clearly whether it's transcript or not. It will say AOS evidence.

If you have time you can request transcripts again from IRS. The IRS will send you the transcripts again within ten days.

Whoa, I was under the impression that the medical could be walk-in (you know...because Egypt...), but i was planning to have my husband call once we get the interview date. I guess they're super busy if the earliest you could get is the day before your husband's interview..? Do you think I should have my husband go ahead and schedule his medical without an interview date? The US embassy's website suggests having it done 3 weeks prior to the interview: http://egypt.usembassy.gov/consular/ivmei.htmlI can't see ours getting scheduled later than mid-December (assuming no unforeseen circumstances) since our CC was in July and I REALLY don't want to be in the situation of not having the medical done (or the results in hand) before the interview.

Good luck to anyone who plans on walking in anywhere nowadays and getting an exam on demand. Egypt. Algeria and Jordan are particularly backed up clutter busts due to Yemen and Syria embassy loads being delegated to them.

I wouldn't do the medical prior to getting an interview date though, because as far as I know, you need to take the appointment letter to the examination with you. I may not be correct on that point.( I'm sure someone else can correct me if I'm mistaken)

Questions since couple of things changed between case complete and interview schedule.

1. Updated case to CR1 from F2A- I am sending my naturelization certificate photocopy and my US passport photocopy to my spouse for interview - will it be enough or will embassy ask for the orginal copy

2. I have Changed my Employer in between. I was a contractor and become permanent in the company. Little change in salary but good enough to sponsor my spouse. I am sending my original AOS with pay stub and employment verification letter which I have submitted to NVC. Also- I completed the new I864EZ, Signed and attaching my last three year tax transcript, Last three month pay stub and the new employment verification letter. will these all be sufficient?

3. My Wife go a new Passport since the current passport will expired within next 5 month. She will take the new and old passport with photocopies of both. will it be fine?
