Ok. I have a question. In my xrays form the doctor wrote: results: abnormal findings. Dorsal scholiosis with a calcified lymph node. No sputum needed. Do not mark as B others on Ds 2054.

Does this mean I will be denied?

I have scoliosis. That just means you have a wonky spine... That would have happened during your teenage years. I think dorsal scoliosis is medical speak for "the curve is right/left".

Then the calcified lymph node, that's a lymph node that was once inflamed and then... Calcified. Certainly nothing you can give to other people.

If they suspected TB, I think they'd follow up with a sputum sample, which they haven't.

I'm not a doctor, but I don't see how those thins would pose a threat to National security. If only I suspect you get the occasional back ache.

I don't understand the other bureaucratic speak, but there's nothing medically worrying that they have reported. (I think)

Scholiosis isn't at all a reason to be denied. It's a curvature of the spine, which all too many people have. Calcified lymph node means whatever was wrong with the lymph node in the past left some calcification. No sputum needed means the doctor doesn't suspect TB, so there is no need for a sputum test.

Class B means Tuberculosis and ds2054 is a medical evaluation result form.

As yours says "Do not mark as B....." that means you are clear.

So now you can relax and smile, You're just fine.

Hi Dwheels76. wali1001 from Ethiopia have received his interview letter today for Nov 16. Can you update the spreadsheet. It actually conforms the theory that NVC does not schedule interviews based upon CC dates(atleast for Ethiopia). He has a CC date of August 1 and got scheduled for Nov. Few of us from April and May CC dates are still waiting. He also said he did not request for an expedite.

Congratulations to all the Jordan peeps who been waiting since May, June and July for dates. some as long as 164 days for an interview. OMG. Congrats. NVC is on a roll today.

This means I won't be making my usual Friday morning call which I have done for many months. I can't believe I don't need to call them anymore!

Congrats, Lowlie! You had me so excited that i made my husband call NVC a little while ago (it's now past 2AM here)..............but no luck for us. The lady said that the embassy sends them new slots every week, though...

They are going by priority date it seems. NVC is something else.

If that's the case, then WAELMOHAMED should definitely have gotten his interview date. His PD is 3/11/2014 according to his timeline (Lowlie's is 9/8/2014 and mine is 10/3/2014). WAELMOHAMED, please call NVC to find out as soon as you can! I hope you have better luck than I did.

I did plenty of that too.....running to call NVC when I would see an interview here and an interview there. I got to where I felt like the ONLY response anyone at NVC would ever give me was, "No."

Soon you'll get good news! I've noticed even the worst embassies are starting to give out interview slots this month.

It's not excessive. I remember recently seeing a post that someone called in the morning and had no interview, then called in the evening and got the good news.

It was 70 days from CC until we got the good news. From CC to interview will be 106 days.
