November 2015 Interviews

Can someone help me please. I posted this question over the weekend not sure it someone responded.

i applied I-130 for my mother and father at the same time. They both got the same CC date and were supposed to get same interview date. Over the weekend P4 was sent only for my mother for interview November 3. My fathers P4 was not sent. I called NVC yesterday. They confirmed my mothers interview, they confirmed that my fathers case was complete and all the guy said was "oh that's weird they weren't scheduled together." He told me to call the embassy and tell them to see if they can schedule my father the same day as my mother. I call embassy this morning and they said they can't do anything because NVC is the one who schedules interviews. So what do I do guys? Call NVC again or call embassy again but explain a different way? My mother has already scheduled her medicals for October 20.

When I spoke to someone at NVC they told me that the SA Embassy sends them the appointment dates and times. So not sure what to tell you. I've always found the SA embassy to be helpful when I called, though. I'd probably call the embassy, again.

It's been quiet...has anybody called for interviews this week/received email.many people were scheduled last week.

I'm tired of hearing the same depressing answer that there's still no interview date yet so I'm debating on just waiting for the email.

See if they have a facebook page. It's next to impossible to get anything but an auto-reply from an embassy when emailing, and calling is just as useless...but I very politely posted on our embassies facebook yesterday, that we've been waiting anxiously for a CR1 interview for a couple of months and hoping to be together soon. Within just a few minutes I had a comment from the embassy, "Will be sending slots to NVC soon."....Then I saw my post and the comment were soon deleted from the page. I really didn't think they would acknowledge my post, so I was delighted to get that answer.

My husband just completed his interview in Kingston Jamaica. He was not told if it was approved or not. They kept his passport, gave him a white slip and told him if they don't call him, he should receive his visa through DHL. I'm feeling nervous and unsure of what does that mean. Any suggestion my VJers

I've heard too many people say they didn't get the email for 2 to 4 weeks. I want to know asap so my husband can get his medical scheduled and out of the way. Since our embassy is so far behind, I don't call every day. I call once per week on Friday.

Had interview today finally after 6 months of waiting.

My husband spent 3 and a half hours in the embassy today, they asked him simple questions like how did you come to know your wife, when's your anniversary, stuff like that.

My affidavit of support wasn't enough so I had two joint sponsors but turns out those two joint sponsors sponsored other people so the affidavits were worthless.

Visa denied until I can find someone who hasn't already sponsored an immigrant to sponsor my husband.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened. Such a long wait, only to have more delays. I hope you find someone right away.

I have read that a sponsor may also be sponsoring another immigrant, why was that a problem in your case?
