Thanks a lot for all your support and guidance. I got my visa APPROVED.

just in 1 hour 45 minutes I am out with a broad Grin in my face.

They didnt ask one extra document. First Indian officer returned one pile of documents back to me and said your husband has sent lots of documents, Just saw my Birth certificate/ Marriage certificate originals. She didn't even verify that

American officer didn't ask anything. simple questions. then he was checking my I130 petition, in which we sent all our chats, mobile bills, FB, photos. Then finally said ' Your Visa is Approved'

Visa approved @ Mumbai India. A nervous experience but my wife pulled it through...6 or 7 people before her in the waiting line were denied visa.

Thanks to VJ family.we had all documents and answers to any possible question we might be asked by following vj.

Dwheels and all fellow VJ-ers... would like to thank you all for the support and answer to questions. Our visa got approved at USE, New Delhi. Wait was about 3 hrs but interview was real short. In fact hardly any questions. Although prior interviewees at the same window were asked a lot of evidence and questions but as soon as we walked to it, the body language of the CO was indicative of approval. And within a couple minutes she pulled out Yellow and White Sheet indicating to pay GC fees and instructions about how to pick up passport. Will write a detailed review later. I being the petitoner was allowed at all stages of the process but never asked anything.

Just called. Nothing for us, but the rep confirmed our CC date (7/20)...will call later this month, but I guess this probably means we'll have the interview in early December. sigh was really hoping to be home in time for the holidays and that hope is now fading. Thanks, US Embassy Cairo.

I have no idea of my priority date. Ive been going through this process for what seems forever. lol. Thanks for your reply, I never thought of that.

CC date does get you in the queue. PD dates usually get you the earlier dates in the month. If I have 10 cases for Lagos and you have varies CC's I am working with the PD does come in to play many times. Shouldn't someone that filed before you get a date before you.

Ohhh Ok, gotcha. That very well might be the case. Our priority date is May 16, 2013.

So glad it's finally "over". I've been MIA from the forum because life is just too hectic with everything going on with myself and the kids.

Yeah the interview was fairly straightforward. They did ask quite a lot of questions but most of them pretty standard. No trick questions or anything, lol. The lady wad very nice. In the end she didn't really tell me if I'm approved or not, instead she just gave me some paperwork and told me I should read it because it contains useful information for when I move to the US. Lol!

Got my visa today too, along with the sealed, huge and really awkwardly shaped immigration package.

I plan to write a more extensive review as soon as I get some time.

Thank you VJ, you made this journey a lot less painful than it could have been. And a special thank you to the resident patrons, you know who you are.

Hello, My case closed aug 6th and im waiting for interview date at Algerian embassy too.. I just hung up with NVC and no interiview date yet

so many be members getting interview scheduled for November. My scan date is 13 Aug and still waiting for cc. I am very upset. everytime we call nvc they have same thing to say that our paperwork is fine and they don't have interview slots yet. It is trying our patience out now my case is lying with nvc since June. anyone with same situation having sd of Aug?

Same here, called today, same answer. Requested supervisor review, was transferred to a case specialist, who blamed it on the Mumbai consulate and that there was nothing they can do. My CC is Aug 4.

Told me that I have no option but to wait even if takes a year, that it's Mumbai that decides who gets to go first.

When I mentioned lack of accountability and transparency, they didn't want to hear it. Was told something about US laws protecting me and the process and that I have to blindly trust it and that was it, they then hung up on me!

HI all good morning, My scan date was 9/21/2015, we had sent my sponsors 2013 taxes along with everything else and friday we sent out my sponsors most recent tax updates becuase he just got them done, is this going to delay my CC?
