Dwheels, in regards to scheduling for a particular country....do they not go in order of CC date? I'm noticing that several people who had CC later than my own have an interview date earlier in the month than mine. Should I be concerned at all about that or do they just randomly throw people in slots with no rhyme or reason as to how they do it?

I would call NVC.

Thank you, dweels76! We called NVC and was told to just ignore the checklist cause our case was completed. However, we are still going to bring a corrected form I-864EZ on the interview.

Congratulations Oluwaese!!! Your case is really an inspiration for us from Nigeria awaiting CC for interview. I pray I get an early interview like you. It shows on the spreadsheet it takes almost 3months from CC to interview date in Nigeria

I am also hopping to get an interview in November. I had sent my documents for AOS and IV Civil Documents on 28th Sep. So I am right now on waiting list to get documents reviewed in October and hopping for my interview in November.

I have chosen Mumbai Consulate, India. Does anybody expecting the same in this time frame?

I want my spouse to be here in USA before 15th Dec to enjoy holiday season with her.

@dwheels76 Thank you so much for running such a good thread for all of us!!!! :goofy:

NVC received our docs on September, 23rd. We hope we'll get CC in the next 10-15 days, and hopefully, the interview will be scheduled for November. We hope we'll be together for Christmas, or earlier!

Sending positive energy. Let's hope for the best.

Thank you. He was going to wait until my next visit on Oct 20th but I recommended he go immediately. I would rather be safe than sorry.

Since you have to do the VAC appointment within 10 days of the interview, my mother in law just waited and did them both on the same day (8 days before her interview). That way she wouldn't have to make an extra trip to the capital. But if he lives near the capital, it's not such a big deal. Good luck!

Got my interview date. My husband and I have chosen to keep the date between us, for the time being. I will say that is during the average number of days that it takes for the SA embassy to schedule after case complete.

it's lottery application.t. they can submit the application but it wont draw it until later date. im not sure it would effect the interviews date, hopefully not.

It has no effect on interviews, and the winners have to apply for a green card and go through a year (or more) long process before they ever reach the point when they have interviews, .For example, I have a friend who entered the lottery in October 2011 and entered the USA as soon as he was permitted to do so in 2013.
