Congrats! Saw your post and immediately called NVC. Our cc was 7/14...and we have an interview date also!!! Nov17 9am!!!

So excited...now to get medical done and try to get our date moved up so we can reunite daddy with our now 6 mth baby boy!

Congratulations to you also! Hopefully we both can get an earlier date. Our son is missing daddy badly too.

NVC is on a roll.Last night I was told we have an interview. Today we received our interview letter. Praise God. Question, should my husband get his medical exam right away? Our interview is 11/25

I would recommend getting it sooner than later if your husband can.

If you do it a few days before the interview, any delays with the bloodwork or x-ray and/or getting those delivered at the embassy, will impact the visa being issued.

He can do the interview without the medical results being there but the embassy will only issue the visa once they receive it.

Every country is different, but we did ours 2 full business days before the interview.. No doctors in my city, so I had to fly to Rio de Janeiro and back on the same day just for the doctors appointment.. I was told the results would only get there 2 days after the interview, so that added 2 more days for our visa to be issued.. Sounds like nothing for someone waiting for 11 months, but at this stage, I'm counting the seconds!!!

Now waiting for the passport to arrive by mail and been refreshing the post office tracking page every minute.. I will probably wait at the door before they open instead of waiting for the mailman

Just got off the phone with nvc. Hubby's interview scheduled for Nov. 18th.

Those of you waiting for interview date in Ghana,please call nvc. They're scheduling. As always, good luck to us all.

Hi everyone, don't know if anyone can help shed some light, our case got completed on September 30th but received a checklist today, October 1st.

Please review the instructions below to complete a new I-864EZ Affidavit of Support form or to obtain the missing supporting documents.

Form I-864EZ: Assessment Letter for PETITIONER's NAME:

[x] In Part 1. Qualifying to use Form I-864EZ, please correct the following...

[x] You must check either "Yes" or "No" in response to questions a, b, and c.

I am confused cos under the "Instructions for: BENEFICIARY's NAME", nothing is listed. For "Financial Evidence", it has no list or specific documents listed. And that correction on I-864EZ is the only specific instruction listed on the checklist.

My question is,

Is my understanding that there are no missing supporting documents and additional financial evidences needed and we only need the corrected I-864EZ right?

It is stated on the email that we don't need to send the corrected I-864EZ form to the NVC instead, the beneficiary will take it to the interview and the Consular Officer will review at the time of the interview. I'm still glad that we don't have to wait for another 30 days for a checklist review! God is good!

My wife's visa was approved today. They just gave her a piece of paper to register on the U.S. Visa website. Doesn't 2go sign her up at he interview or what?

Looking at the case complete to interview spreadsheet. Quite a few people with CC after me have interview dates.

Can I ask you when was the last time you called NVC? Have you verified your Case Compete date? You have 8/4 and as you see people all the way up to 8/19 got October dates.

I pray its not so but looks like something is a miss you need to call and find out what the issue is.

Glad to inform you all that I got the Interview. I just called NVC based on the activity in this forum. They told me over phone about the interview. No email yet.
