My husband flew to the USA and we married a couple weeks later. We sent in the AOS package and payment and did the biometric appt. He was with me 4 months when there was a grave family emergency back

It's just my opinion...but looking at the status over and over and over again seems pointless and only adds to the stress. One day we see 3 N/A, another day we see "PAID" the next day it's 3 N/A agai

DWheels76 explained this, but I'll try again. If you sent ORIGINAL documents to NVC, then NVC has forwarded these to the Embassy or Consulate. You are not required to bring any more originals to you

I don't see any issue. One your case probably won;t get shipped to your embassy until beginning of November ts fairly early to be sending now.

Are you trying to change the date?

As far as your passport. At interview tell the CO you need your passport and after your trip you will drop off to place the Visa. Not a big issue. Many people need their passports for traveling and bring in when embassy is ready.

Ah ok ok ok I understand.....

Well, anyway I cant avoid being stressed.... My husband called to the USA Embassy in my country and they told him they´re good trying to help people with the passport...So we need to have faith that I will get it on time...

March 02, 2015: We left I-130 on Fedex

March 04, 2015: UCSIS received our paperwork

March 06, 2015: We received the e mail of UCSIS Acceptance Confirmation (Nebraska)

July 22, 2015 : I-130 Approved (It took 140 days)

August 04, 2015: Mail from UCSIS saying they have sent our case to NVC

August 10, 2015: Case scanned by NVC

August 20, 2015: Case number and IIN received by phone

August 21, 2015: DS261 done and FEE Affidavit of Support paid (FEE Status: In Process)

August 24, 2015: Affidavit of Support FEE Status: PAID

August 25, 2015: Husband received Welcome package from NVC

September 03, 2015: IV Package FEE paid (FEE Status: In Process)

September 08, 2015: IV Package FEE Status: PAID

September 09, 2015: DS-260 Done

September 14, 2015: Package received by NVC (Scan Date)

October 08, 2015: Case Complete

November 09, 2015: Medical Test Done

November 25, 2015: Interview Date APPROVED !!!!!!!!!!!! :D

January 05, 2016: Visa Issued

January 12, 2016: Visa in hand :dancing:

January 22, 2016: US$ 165 Fee paid

February 08, 2016: In my new home

POE: Los Angeles

March 07, 2016: Green Card received...but waiting for SSN

they said the visa will be ready for pickup in 10 days now it's more than 10 days, no visa and no reasonable reply to my emails.

It seems Lagos is behind like so many embassies. It's more like 2 to 3 weeks. But you are approved so no wahala. I am just thrilled for you. I know you want that Visa. It's a shame people can;t even make reservations.

my interview was a great success in Lagos.

my visa is not ready yet.

it's shows "issued" on 6th October till date.

Does it say it was printed in the verbiage section? I know they are about 2 to 3 weeks behind so you should be ready anytime now.

Have not seen many people schedule interviews lately???/are they finished scheduling for November??

Think I saw someone say that NVC told them that scheduling for November has been completed. Of course, no way to confirm because another rep told me they schedule interview throughout the month.

You are correct, haven't seen any interview action of late.

Might be for only Philippines but I was just told by NVC rep that he hasn't been given any information that they're done scheduling for November.

I called NVC earlier today and was told my case is still being reviewd. I just checked the website tonight and notice I have the 3 N/As so I assume that this is a case complete. I will confirm in the morning. Can i please be added to the spread sheet scan date 22 September case complete 19 september. Thanks

Did you know, that you can observe any changes being made on the visa case once it is at the embassy by looking at the updated date on the visa case status check on CEAC?

Maybe it is just me because my case was expedited.

But on ceac.state.gov, once I enter the case number it says Ready, then case number, then case creation date, and then status updated date. I checked it when I saw on DHL that the case arrived to Dakar and it showed that same date...and then I just checked it tonight...and it actually showed today's date instead...

I know that means I will be hearing something in regards to an interview soon, because I actually emailed my embassy yesterday to ask them a question and to ask them about the status of the case and in regards to an interview date, and the response was you will receive instructions shortly...and usually...in the American language...shortly means a couple of days if not hours!
