I am so excited.

I checked CEAC today and the Dakar Embassy says ready, meaning they have received the case!

Yay!

Now for those who have had an expedited case...

We email them to request the interview, right? Or I still wait for that interview letter thru email?

Hey all - just a brief question. When there are three N/A's shown on the CEAC site, under AOS fee, AOS docs and evidence, and Civil Documents, that means the case is complete, correct? Are there exceptions to this, or is this a sure-fire sign? I've got the three NA's, but no official word yet.

Thanks!

3 N/A always means your case is complete. Call NVC in the morning to hear the good news. The email is slow to arrive. :-)

I'm worried I may have lost the plot.

Do I need to submit a readiness form? NVC has my case, not the embassy.

And, will NVC schedule my case even if my medical results haven't been forwarded on to the embassy? It's next week.

I'm not really sure what you are asking. But if you are still at NVC there's nothing for you to do but prepare for interview. There is no readiness anything fro IR1/CR1.

Lost the plot? Don't know what that is.

Your medical has nothing to do with scheduling.

So are you saying you don't have an interview date yet and you already did you medical? How long ago did you do your medical?

Ok. I have a question. In my xrays form the doctor wrote: results: abnormal findings. Dorsal scholiosis with a calcified lymph node. No sputum needed. Do not mark as B others on Ds 2054.

Does this mean I will be denied?

Im close to lose my mind here... :(

No it doesn't mean denial. It means when you get to the US you need to see a doctor and followup.

Hi Dwheels76. wali1001 from Ethiopia have received his interview letter today for Nov 16. Can you update the spreadsheet. It actually conforms the theory that NVC does not schedule interviews based upon CC dates(atleast for Ethiopia). He has a CC date of August 1 and got scheduled for Nov. Few of us from April and May CC dates are still waiting. He also said he did not request for an expedite.

He's a different Visa type as you. Different slots for different Visa types. He is a IR-5 you aren't

Omg I had thought that my wife might be coming home this weekend after an approved interview last Thursday. We even were able to pay the Ellis fee. Now though as I was hoping to see the status change to issued last night it has instead changed to the dreaded AP. It's still that way tonight and all the stories about people waiting for months with that status are running thru my head. I just want it to be over and reunited at last. ?

If she was told at the interview that she was approved and didn't receive a 221g letter, then the AP probably indicates they are printing the visa in her passport. There's administrative processing and then there's ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING. As I understand it, all visas go through the former, the more problematic one (possibly, not always) is the latter and you would have gotten a 221g letter or told at the interview your case needs further administrative processing. That's the one that takes possibly months (but not always).

My husband's interview was on October 8th and he was approved and they kept his passport. I also saw his status as "administrative processing" yesterday - made my heart skip a beat for a second, but I believe it's a good sign.

I read elsewhere on VJ that all visas even approved will go through a period of administrative processing, it's just the status they put whenever they are doing something to it. In your case it's probably just printing your wife's visa in her passport and getting her immigration packet ready. You will be reunited soon enough!

I am confused and i need help about which financial documents I need to take for my interview?

Anyone?

Dwheels?

You need to take what is listed in your P4 letter.

You might want to call your embassy to confirm though. I did and they told me to bring fresh couple photos which wasn't mentioned in the P4 letter. Good thing they did because the CO did ask for them.
