My understanding is that they only close when the other government agencies do...which during this time period (since we filed) would only be Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, MLK Jr. Day.

I'm worried, too, but there are others in the September Filers forum that haven't received their EAD/AP card yet...at least a few since I recently checked.

10/05/15 - Mailed AOS Package (I-130, I-485, I-864, I-693, I-131, I-765, G-325As, G-1145)

10/07/15 - AOS Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

10/14/15 - Received four NOA1s via e-mail & text notifications that USCIS received our case. Routed to National Benefits Center for processing

10/15/15 - Checks cashed

10/19/15 - Received four hard copies of NOA1s in the mail

10/23/15 - Received biometrics appointment in the mail. Scheduled for 11/03

10/26/15 - Failed early walk-in attempt for biometrics at Boston location

11/03/15 - Biometrics appointment in Boston

11/10/15 - AOS case status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for interview"

12/21/15 - EAD/AP approved

12/24/15 - EAD/AP mailed

12/30/15 - EAD/AP delivered

03/17/16 - Interview scheduled for April 20th

04/20/16 - AOS Inteview - Boston, MA - APPROVED!

04/25/16 - Approval notice received in the mail

04/26/16 - Green card mailed

04/29/16 - Green card delivered

Oh no!

So there are still some September filers waiting for the EAD/AP card?

Those are not good news at all, I believe I won't be able to go home for Xmas!

My AOS journey from F-1 Student Visa

September 30, 2015 - Mailed AOS packet (I-130, I-485, I-131 & I-765)

October 01, 2015 - Package delivered to USCIS (Chicago Lockbox), signed by CHYBA

October 07, 2015 - Both checks were cashed out and got all the four NOA1's by both, email and text message for I-130, I-148, I-131 & I-765

October 13, 2015 - Received the four NOA1's in the regular mail

October 16, 2015 - Got the Appointment letter in the mail, scheduled for 11/06/2015

October 20, 2015 - Successful early Biometrics walk-in at the Orlando ASC

December 26, 2015 - Received the EAD/AP combo card in the mail.

OMG! I just got the text message at 3 pm.

My EAD/AP card was approved .

I received the noa2 on the 24th and the card on 26th. It's funny that the uscis case status provided me with the usps tracking number after I already had the card. Edited by A--dawg
