Translator for Interview - London how?

Hi Guys

So I am trying to arrange interview for my mom's tourist visa for USA so she can attend my coming up wedding there. However, the thing is that she does not speak English too much, therefore I can't imagine her having that interview. I know that I can't go with her, but how about any translators for the interview?

I managed to call the embassy and the guy said that the translators are available at the time of the interview but he was not able to tell me how to arrange or book it etc.

Does anyone now how to do it or have any information? Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of someone doing it?

I can not see that being a problem, a very common situation, lots of Poles in the UK who need visas. I thought it might be something obscure.

It is mainly a paper based process anyway, not a lot to say.

So I have been told that somewhere in the application I can mark that I would require translator for the interview. I have scheduled the appointment for my mom and there was nowhere to do so. does anyone has experience in booking the translator for the interview??

please help!
