prior arrests ending in charges being dismissed, will this be a problem? (split topic)

Dwheels76 or VJ Member on this thread , i hope someone can answer the following two questions for me, I will really appreciate any replies.

1: I overstayed my visit visa by 7 years and then departed USA in 2005 willingly without any deportation or any legal proceedings. Now I have completed the ten year bar, that came upon me due to overstaying my visit visa.

My concern is that on the interview day could that be a problem for me even though I have completed my ten years?

2: I was arrested three times in 2001, 2003 and 2004, the charges were in possession of a gambling device, which is not a serious offence. All three times the cases were dismissed, and for that I have obtained the Disposition Certificates for all three arrests from New York court.

My concern is that could the three dismissed cases cause me any problems on my interview day.

Any reply to the above two questions will b highly appreciated.

If you have an Exit/Entry stamp on your passport as a proof that you left USA in 2005, it will be fine and there shouldn't be any problem. As far as charges are concerned, you wont be in trouble if charges were dismissed. This wont probably be in your record.

I do have the entry stamp from Pakistan airport.
