DESPERATE. Why is NVC NOT scanning/reviewing my checklist yet??? PLEASE HELP

Sorry I forgot to mention my experience yesterday I spoke to the manager and in the morning I had a worst experience talking to a lady CR like around 10:30am EST and that was the worst experience I had she told me that we cant tell you when will your case get completed and she is also saying don't call NVC till November 1st and you what I did told her politely thank you Madam and around 12:20 EST I called again and there is a very nice lady CR who connected me to the Supervisor and the supervisor said that she does not have the physical file with her so she cant look into my case but you know what she reviewed my DS-260 on the phone and approved what a great manager she is and she told me that she will fallow up my document that is pending at the DR department.

Can you try calling them around 12:20 EST and give a try to see you can get connected to a Supervisor.

Ok well at least you know they'll be looking for your document. I called them today again at 7:00 AM sharp. I was told that no supervisors had arrived yet and if there was one around, they were most likely having a meeting with their team. Will try again later. However, the rep took a detailed look at our case amd said that our mail hasnt even been brought over to their building for review. That there is so much chaos with the mail and so back logged. She went ahead and put us for supervisor review. Dreading how long this will take but better than being ignored I suppose.

I am really sorry for you I know how hard it is to be away from your loved ones, call them around 12:20 EST and try for the supervisor.

I'm USA citizen and I read comments of other people in this group with priority date start january this year and They already pass the interview and get the Visa. At this point I don't know what else can do. Any suggestions please. I file a complaint already with the Department of State and speak with the California Senator Her office have all my information and I hope They help me.

I know my friend how frustrating this whole process is, yes what the CR told is true when you call NVC if a CR I mean a representative make any changes to your case like send notification to the Supervisor then automatically any previous supervisor requests will be invalid and the new request will take precedence and the count starts from there for 42 days, I think your case is different you said you talked to a supervisor am I right then you will not have any issue.

When I call NVC first thing I say to CR is please don't make any changes to my case if you are lucky if they connect you to the supervisor then you will not have any problem.

As per the complaints and requests from Congressman/Senator works only once in a while and most of the time NVC does not care about your complaint unless and until Congressman or Senator directly speak to the NVC.

Hello, I still in the limbo my case is in NVC since July 7 and on July 28 I get a checklist for my AOS They lost but anyway I mail again over night and the scan date is 8/4 since that date my case not move out at all , 9/11 the CR send my case under Supervisor review but even the Supervisor don't review my last package and my DS 260 yet, well yesterday I get lucky and the CR transfer me with a Supervisor but She is not on charge of my case and She don't able to review the DS 260 over the phone and just said She sending another message to the other Supervisor . This morning I call to get update and the CR are very very rude and She told me my case review process start all over again after the conversation I had yesterday with the Supervisor and when I ask the reason to be wait another 42 days the CR hung up on me , I call back and thanks God I get a better CR and She told me the same my case is under supervisor review etc etc, and I ask if is true my case start all over again due to my conversation the previous day wit another Sup. according to Her it's not make sense and just wait until 10/23 when is completed the 42 days was start on 9/11. Honestly I going crazy with all this lies and long process NVC is the worse Goverment Institution .

Yes it is really frustrating whatever you are doing is good and whenever you call the NVC in the first few seconds of your call you will know how is that CR if you feel that she is not helping just say that its been long time and can I speak to the supervisor and if she says none is available just say thanks and hangup because there is no point talking to those kind of CR's you can find a good CR later.

My DS-260 was reviewed on the phone I was so lucky but as per the documents they need the physical file to approve it and the DR department will have that file and the supervisor should request that file so that she can approve even though if the supervisor send an email to DR team they just ignore the mail. That is the reason you should never send the documents without the checklist. cover sheet I made that mistake sending the documents without any checklist and now I am paying for that mistake.

Yeah I know how painful this whole process is, I am so sorry and also sorry for myself too because we both are in same boat. Anyways I have a quick question when I looked at your timeline I see that you sent your AOS&IV packet to NVC on 2015-03-27 and you paid you AOS&IV fee on 2015-05-13 and if that is true then you also made a big mistake like me that without making any fee payment you should never send any documents but I am unlucky that when the first time I sent the fee payment via money order the NVC lost it I mean they deposited into their account but didn't reflect on my account so in that time the CR asked me to send my documents then the whole problem was started and one more big mistake is, one day when I called the NVC and the CR told me that I have a checklist that they need my wife's birth certificate but I waited for 3 weeks and never received a checklist and again called and the CR told me that you can send the Birth Certificate with out the checklist response and since then there is no movement in my case.

So if anyone who sent the documents to NVC with out any checklist they will be in a big trouble and moreover never send the AOS & IV packets without paying the fees as this is a big lesson for me.

The only one thing you can do is just call them and ask for a supervisor and ask the supervisor to send an email to DR team or ask the supervisor look into your case if you are lucky the supervisor will request the file and look into that, if not you have to wait till the DR team look into your pending document. What I observed is the Supervisor can review the DS-260 on the phone if you don't have any divorce or something like that but for any pending documents the supervisor cant review as they need the physical file so its all your luck. Finally the DR team does not care about anyone I mean even if your senator request for case update they don't care

Yeah actually all the steps have been so messed up because of their technical problems, NVC told us to send the packets first and then pay later when the system is fixed. Then DS-260 came last. I got the feeling that it was what that had held us back for such a long time.
Luckily my request for expedite is recently approved so we will see if it actually help speeding everything up.

Nope there is no update to my case and my priority date is current and I am suppose to be getting the interview letter I am really confused what to do now cant think of anything.

Only one good thing happened is the other day when I called the supervisor luckily reviewed my DS-260 and approved it and now that document is pending at the DR I don't know when will they approve that and this whole process driving me crazy.

I am really sorry that even though you sent your checklist with the cover sheet, usually if you send any documents without the checklist it will go out of the queue so I hope when you call the NVC they might be telling you that there is a packet of mail that needs to be reviewed am I right if they say that then that means your case went out of queue so you better contact your local Congressman/Senator.
