K-1 & K-3 Visa

I am registered at the Manila Embassy info site and I just received a message stating that if you are a K-1 or K-3 visa applicant, you will no longer be allowed to bring cell phones onto the Embassy property. All other business people will still be allowed to check their cell phones in at the embassy entrance.

If you are found to have a cell phone with you, and are a K-1 or K-3 visa applicant, they will stop you at the gate and ask you to leave and come back after you have left your cell phone somewhere else.

Cell phones haven't been allowed for a very long time at the Vancouver, Canada consulate. My interview was 3 years ago, and there were no cell phones allowed even then.

Whatever is ur visa i think cellphones r not allowed in the embassy. Even electronic devices..coz nobody is allowed to make noise or intertain calls..need to focus on ur processing of papers inside the embassy.
