Yeah, I just don't see how the gay community can take anything positive away from this "trick". If anything, I see principles being compromised by the two gay men.

Well let's put it into perspective. The entire thing is petty. It's just a small group of people saying F-you to another group of people who said F-you to them.

How was the pizzeria "tricked" exactly? It looks like the gay couple had to pretend they were straight in order to be served. I'm all for gay rights and originally thought the pizzeria was dead wrong for not catering to gays, but it looks like these two gay men compromised their principles in order to be served at this pizzeria. And they gave the pizzeria more publicity.
