NVC Review doesnt seem to end

I am really frustrated and depressed as I haven't received any updates from NVC regarding my case status. It been more than sixty days now and despite calling them several times and even talking with the supervisors doesn't help much. As per the last call i made and talked with the supervisor he told that review was completed on 16-09-2015. And you will receive some assessment letter next week stating you will need to bring following documents to bring to your Interview

Copy of 2014 irs Tax Transcript

Copy of 2014 W2 form

I864A form

Copy of Birth and Marriage Certificate

He also said you might receive a checklist just ignore it from now on NVC doesn't require anything from you. Now I am wondering why NVC is taking so long. They havent sent me any thing not even a checklist.

Is it normal for NVC not to respond even after 60 days?

What is assessment letter?

Does it really mean we dont have to deal with NVC any more and now the case will be in Consulate?

There is no 3 N/A on CEAC website which i have been checking regularly. How long it takes for the status to be changed on website.

Is NVC waiting for the consulate to respond before they will send me anything due to extensive backlogs the consulates have?

I think your case should be soon,our case completed on September 4,2015,i got email on September 25 for November 10 interview.

Okie thanks for the comforting words i hope we receive a case completion soon but thing is normally how long does it take to show up the status on CEAC website regarding 3 N/A and did you received an email regarding case completion or did u heard over the phone?

Stepson case was complete on sep, 17 but the 3 n/a didnt show up till sep, 18

same here it's been 60 days from scan date and still haven't received a case complete letter. they told me that my case completed last august. so much of waiting and confusing.

Yeah I can feel you. Thing is I have talked so many times with them every rep and supervisor they whole come up with a different story. Its really frustrating to see other people getting case complete within 30-42 days time frame and ours is taking ages. Your case completed in August so i think you should call them and talk to silvia she is very helpful supervisor even if she isnt dealing with your case she will definitely give her best to help you out its my personal experience with her.

yeah really frustrating, every time i call they always said that my case was complete but no cc letter arrive. am planning to call them again next week. let's hope and pray for the best.

Today i was came across another person going through the same situation and its interesting what letter of NVC she shared and she is from Philippines. Its an old post on some other site

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the

immigrant visa petition:

We completed our review of the Affidavit of Support form and financial

evidence documents. Our review indicates additional financial evidence

and/or an amended Affidavit of Support form is still required. You have

been sent a separate checklist letter that specifies the missing

documents. You should obtain these documents and send them to the

principal applicant. The principal applicant must provide the missing

items to the U.S. Consular Officer at the time of the visa interview.

Do not send these documents to the NVC, because this may delay your

case.

The NVC completed its processing of xxxxxxx's visa petition.

The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S.

Embassy or Consulate in MANILA, PHILIPPINES. When an interview

appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant,

designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be

notified.

It means some times even if the documents are missing still NVC can schedule an interview with the local consulate and the applicant needs to bring thos documents directly there so it means we are good

Yes ur right. Somebody told me that there are some didnt recieve a cc letter but got the IL letter. Fingers crossed for november interview.
