still waiting for AOS /Travel

Timeline

We have filed last yr on July 7, 2014, It has been way over a year..my husband got his EAD renewed, how can he travel abroad to see his family if we are still waiting on a GC? WHat forms do we need? fees? and time frame to file and to receive?

Timeline

Should have filed the I-131 at the same time as all the other forms. You would have received an EAD/AP combo card and could have filed to renew the AP at the same time as the EAD. You can still file the I-131 and provide a copy of the I-485 filing receipt notice so the fee is waived.
