EAD in MSC and AOS in CSC

We submitted AOS and EAD paperwork on Jan 9.

I'm hoping y'all can confirm what I think I'm seeing.

> Our EAD is in MSC and CIS currently shows Dec 4th as the date they are processing.

> Our AOS is in CSC and CIS currently shows Aug 21st as the date they are processing.

1. Does this mean we will probaby be getting EAD in about a month?

2. Does it mean we will probably be waiting 5 more months for AOS stuff?

3. What are the odds they will switch our EAD to CSC?

I would not count on any of that. I would count on the standard or historical processing times:

3 months for AP

7.7 Months for AOS

Initial EAD takes about 90 days, AOS being transferred to CSC can take 2 months (rare) or more, norm is 4-6 months, depends on name checks, rfe's or other goof ups.

EAD's and AP's are all processed at MSC.

AOS is the only of the 3 petitions that moves to another office.

Totally normal.

EAD's usually process in 90 days. Some less, some more.

AOS could be granted in 30 days or 30 years. There is no legislated timetable for processing.

Don't worry..hopefully your paperwork will move through quickly. I wish EADs processed in 90 days for us too. :(

I-485 , I-765, I-130: NOA1 : 1/23/2006

Biometrics 2/23/2006

Temporary EAD given for 1 month ONLY b/c of Infopass appt: 5/1/2006

Went back to renew EAD through Infopass: EAD card was not given "due to reasons we can't disclose"

5/3/2007: Confirmation that EAD is delayed due to background checks. (started to use the senator, ombudsman and was just a royal pain in the neck)

5/30/2007: EAD production ordered (after over 400 days of waiting!!! woo hoo!)

AOS Interview: 5/12/2008!!! FINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7/29/2008: card production ordered...918 days..can't wait to see that card!
