Sending items to NVC pre-interview

Hi, apologies if this has been asked recently but I had a look and didn't see anything.

I'm in the process of applying for a K1 visa, I'm in Leeds and my fiance is in Kentucky. We're at the stage of awaiting my medical (Oct 2nd) then hopefully interview. I have all of the following paperwork ready as shown at this link http://photos.state.gov/libraries/unitedkingdom/164203/cons-visa/iv_and_k_interview_checklist2014.pdf

However, I have just re-read and noticed the part about sending all the documents to the NVC first! Not sure how I missed it, but we'd been looking into the process since before November last year and I guess I just didn't keep upto date! That said, I know that before, we didn't send anything to NVC before interview, and that K1 is often treated differently to other visas. Has anyone sent these things to the NVC recently whilst on a K1? And to what address did you send them?

Thank you!

AOS from K1

That is not the K1 process. Maybe you read something from an IR1/CR1 spouse visa person??. Their docs and visa application (DS-260) are done at the NVC stage. A K1 just passes through the NVC to get their LND number assigned. Your application (DS-160) is after your case reaches London and all your documents are taken to the interview.

Agree with Nich-Nick, I think you are getting yourself in a bit of a pickle!

You are K1 which is a different process to CR!

Make sure you read the right advice and also relevant to your country, some Embassies ask for a lot more

UK is seen as a low fraud country so our process asks for a lot less info
