Yellow Paper 221g - Lima Peru

My parents went to their interview on August 27th and they were given the yellow 221g stating to send their passports and the original for the I-864 & I-864a from me and my husband (joint sponsors) because we sent a scanned copy instead of the original ()

We have been put under AP since then and the status hasn't changed except when they respond to my emails.

I have emailed them once a week since we got confirmation from DHL the documents were delivered on Sept 2nd and they have been responsive however they don't provide any information. Only 'the case is under review'.

Anybody else in this situation in Peru?

Yes they review that everything is now in order so one has to wait

that's why original papers should be taken to interviews to not get

delayed...all they can do now is wait

the status changed from AP to Ready today. Crossing fingers

The status has changed to ISSUED within an hour of going from AP to READY
