Hi to all! Finally got the chance to share my medical experience at SLEC last 09/16-17/15. :)

DAY 1

Arrived at 9 AM. No more lines of people outside! :joy:

1. Guard outside checked my requirements as follows:

-Passport

-Copy of Passport Bio Page (1 copy)

-Interview Letter from NVC (P4) via email (2 copies, first page only)

-USEM Confirmation Letter via email (1 copy)

-2x2 Visa Photos with complete name at the back (4 pieces)

-Online Registration Form (1 original, 1 copy)

Inside the building…

2. Registration at the USA Counter: data encoding, digital picture taking, fingerprint scanning

(Ground floor, right side)

3. Payment at the cashier in Phil. currency (5th floor, just right next to the elevator)

4. Laboratory - blood sample only (4th floor)

5. Radiology - Chest X-ray (3rd floor)

6. Immunization Interview (2nd floor)

7. Vital Signs, Height and Weight determination and Eye test, (USA Counter, 5th floor)

Around 11:30 AM…

The nurse at the USA counter advised us (along with other applicants waiting in line) to have our lunch break first then just come back by 1:30 – 2:00 PM.

1:00 PM - I came back and just sat back in the waiting area while watching “Aldub” LOL!

Btw, it’s cold inside, so make sure to bring with you a jacket or sweater as they have the room temperature low. :sleepy:

8. Physical Exam – awkward feeling as you will disrobe. About 10 mins. each applicant, (5th floor)

9. USA Counter still at 5th floor – Nurse called my name, gave my receipt and told me to go back the next day for my immunization with my passport. DONE!

Total Approximate Time Consumed: 5

----------------

DAY 2

Appointment at 2 PM

1. Present receipt to the guard. Guard counter-check the applicant’s name against the master list.

2. Proceed to Immunization Room – gave me 3 shots (2nd floor)

3. Releasing Counter (ground floor)

- Most time consuming. Lots of people here waiting for their medical records to be released. :clock: I was called after an hour and a half, gave my passport and signed a few papers. Then told me to go back to my seat and I waited again for about 45 mins. :clock: I was called again then the guy staff verified my identity and asked me to check if all my information was correct. Gave me instructions with my x-ray cd and sealed brown envelope to bring at the USEM interview.

- Finished at 5:30 PM.

Total Approximate Time Consumed: 3.5

Tips: Aside from bringing your jacket, bring lots of PATIENCE too!

Good luck! :)

7 am will probably get you still waiting

My fiancé did the CFO and after reading here she went on Wednesday, She got there around 3 pm and was done in 1 hour.

I wouldn't wait till 3 myself, but on Wednesday I think 9am to 1 pm would be best for no lines....

Good Job

I have no reason why so many people want to get their at 5 am and fall in line

Right. I came around 1pm and was done with everything (except immunization because I opted to get vaccinated here in US) a little past 2. Had to return the next day for the result which, unfortunately was a 2-3 hr wait. But yeah, don't come early in the morning

Hehehehe whats the doctor who check u in physical exam ??? Female ???

Don’t worry, if you’re a female, you’ll also have a female physician that will attend to you. And for the gents, of course a male physician
