I am so pissed right now, I have been crying for almost an hour now. For the person I PM, dont worry about responding.

I want to throw my hands up and say ###### it but I love my Fiance. I am so upset I got him upset and started cussing at him and telling him off, the poor man was speachless. I did appoligize for my actions but CASA was and is wrong. I get an email thru my Senator that says the visa was issued then I get an email today via IVcasa...telling me we are in AP. We had been in AP since early part of February. Why in the hell contact him and get our hopes up high that he would get his visa in a week then send me a dumn ### answer telling me that we are in AP.

I am so damn tired of Casa right now that I could go there and knock down everyone in my path until I see Mr. McKeever and knock the ###### out of him. I am appoligize for my language.

I am so tired of being screwed and lied to.

Can someone please explain this to me because I am not comprehending this at this time?

Thanks for letting me vent, I feel a little better but I am still pissed.

You poor thing...I can not believe that you are going thru all this #######...From what I have seen on this forum Casablanca is just one big mess and the total lack of consideration on their part is unacceptable...As for your Senator...who knows it seems that with the consulate in Morocco there is a lot of lying on all levels and the worse is that no one really gives a %^$ about the pain and suffering that they are putting people thru....but since when governments care about the little people???do not know...anyway I hope that you will get your resolution soon and may it be a positive one...you have been thru a lot and so many others who are going thru Casablanca...I have seen so much support and resourcefulness on this forum particularly in the NA/MI thread...but I guess those of us who have loved ones in that part of the world are somewhat dealing with additional stress due to the whole anti-muslim attitude we see in this country...stay well my dear and my prayers are with you and your Habibi

Best regards, Dorothy

Thanks for letting me vent, I feel a little better but I am still pissed.

I know EXACTLY what you are going through! My husband was called to turn in his passport on Feb.7 and I called the US Dept of State the same day. I was told that his name check was complete and clear at that time. I have sent 6 emails to the consulate and have been given the same canned response about needing additional administrative processing in the US. I have called three times and gotten the same reply as the emails....until yesterday. Yesterday I spoke with a woman who told me she is familiar with my case (must have been the emails!) and that nothing is wrong, we would get a call in a couple of days. Well, TODAY my husband got the call! Hang in there. It was 5 weeks to the day from the time he turned in his passport to now. I have no idea why sometimes it takes that long and sometimes they will issue the visa within a few days! It's enough to drive you crazy.

Sorry to hear about your run around with the embassy. We are on day 93 of AP now and were told our case is fine just needs AP. Vent and get it out and hopefully you will have the visa in hand. All I can say is some security checks expire before others are completed and then have to restart the checks that have expired. Keep your chin up and pray.

Hugs,

Mary

ya know guys... i'm just thankful that there is a place to where we can come and vent... scream... cry... and still support each other... we all miss our SO's... and we are jumping through government hoops to bring them here... and as frustrating, aggravating and difficult as it is... i still can't think of anyone else I would rather spend my life with than my Jamal... i want to say thanks to each of you who encourage us on... and to those who are forging ahead to make ways for those of us to come behind you... thank you...

and to those of you who are posting about their visa process... and reunions... thank you...

yes... i sometimes play the silly games here on VJ... only to give my mind a break from the stress of it all... but, in the meantime I am constantly searching, lurking... reading everything about the process... and about the progress of everyone... it keeps replenishing my hope when it seems that time is sucking me dry... and i feel welcome here... where people know and understand the pain of the process... and being without their sweeties... yes, i have the support of my family... but they don't understand the whole process...

Thank God i have a wonderful family... my church... my friends... and you my friends and family here on VJ... i know it sounds corny... but i do honestly pray for God's hands upon each of us... because each of you here are special... a treasure... and you all mean so much to me... i pray for success to us all! wishing everyone here a wonderful day... and a speedy process!

*hugs ya'll*

Kathy hang in there. I would be highly upset too and I tell myself that my journey is like being on a roller coaster ride. Up one day, then down, then back up. So vent and and others can relate and offer suport. That is what we all are here on VJ doing is offering support, sharing great stories, being shoulders for our friends.

Kathy, When you sent them the e-mail last week, did you do a reply to the e-mail they sent saying it was ready? If not, try that. Once they see they told you that in writing sometimes it gets results. One hand really has no idea what the other is doing over there, but if you have proof in writing that they told you that, then by all means, use it!

When they called Abdel and told him to come back and get his visa, when he got to the consulate, the guy at the door tried to tell him nobody called him. He would not leave but insisted the guy go find out who called him. After waiting quite a while the guy finally found the right person and Abdel got his visa.

It's like one person acts there, but nobody else knows what they've done, so you have to find that specific person to get results. At least you have a name, so that might help some.

Good luck and I hope you have resolution soon.

Kathy, so many of us understand your frustration and it's ok. Just vent away but you do know that he is going to get his visa and you'll be together really soon and this whole nightmare will be behind you. It won't even seem that bad once he is here. Hold on just a little bit longer. All of this really does make us as couples stronger. My best to you and I'll be waiting for the day you say he is coming.
