My husband is not working currently and soon we will have to submmit our AOS to Nvc we have a joint sponsor he is our friend and he makes good ?

Is it better the fact that he is single to sponsor ?and will there be a problem that my husband does not work he is a student at the moment but he has always paid his taxes ?
Thank youu everyone who takes the time to reply :D

hi

it doesn't matter if the joint sponsor is single or married, just that he makes enough over the poverty guidelines

even if your husband doesn't work, he must submit an i864 and explain in a letter why he didn't need to file taxes

Hi thank you for your time .

My husband used to work but now he is not working so while he worked he filed taxes ,and can ask for IRS trascripts ,but i am worried that the embassy may not issue my visa just because he is still a student ???:(

Your husband being a student does not matter in approving your visa. As long as he or a joint sponsor make enough income to sponsor you

We got our I-130 approved about a week ago and in the approval letter it said to give them 30 days to forward the case to nvc ? Does this mean that after thirty days we will be notified to take an action and what will that first action be ? Also they said they will contact the beneficiary and i am the beneficiary but i live in europe , do they notify the petioner too or just me ?

Please help us

Wait a couple of weeks and call the NVC to see if you have a case number and invoice number either you or your spouse can call . First time calling you will need the USCIS case number and birthdays of both. If you do have case number you can log into the CEAC website and start on the rest of the process. IF not just wait a couple of days maybe a week and call back to get the numbers.

After you get the case and invoice numbers you can give the operator for NVC on the phone both yours and your spouse E-mail so that you will also receive E-mails from the NVC

Your husband and the joint sponsor can have the same address. Your husband will not include the joint sponsor in his household count and the joint sponsor will not include your husband in his household count.
