No nothing like that on the envelope, just a plain priority mail envelope. You would not know it was from USCIS without opening it. Even the approval notice in an official USCIS envelope was forwarded by USPS. :)

Hi All,

Well I have an update. I got an RFE notice in the mail this morning. I am a little upset because of the length of time we waited to hear about an update but not surprised as I read on the forum that RFE can be sent as a delay tactic. My application is with the Vermont service center. Racing to send additional documents in asap. Docs I'm sending:

-Summary of my retirement that shows my husband as being the sole beneficiary

- Documentation that shows we're in the process of buying a house

-I just renewed our health and car insurance so I'm sending those receipts in

Any other recommendations?

Congrats! All is well when the card arrives well. Would you by any chance be able to tell on the messy USCIS envelop there's something like "do not forward, return to sender"? I just changed address Sept 1st and wonder if it's gonna be forwarded if USCIS sends it to old address. I don't have a tracking # on case update yet. Thank you!

Open a MyUSPS account unless you alread have one. Whatever tracking-available package/envelope comes on your way, it would show up there. If it is a GC, those would be shipped from Corbin, KY.

Got my letter in the mail yesterday :( RFE... Dated September 23, odd bc I called at 5pm and was told my case was not reviewed yet. Anyways they listed a bunch of items that were in accurate ... I sent my 2013, 2014 tax returns and it says my returns don't show filing status... So disgartning after waiting so long. I'm in a tough situation, I closed the joint account bc we don't use it and we pay $12 a month to keep it open, my husband has his own retail store therefore our credit cards and bank accounts are separate... Don't have kids due to health issues, we do have a dog... Going to get a few affidavits from friends and families on both sides... We have been together for over 7 years and married for over 3.... This is not a good week

I hear you! We have a lot of separate things for financial/professional reasons so it's a scramble for me too. I do think that it's a delay tactic. I have seen 4 applicants get 9/23 RFE so lets just believe that they're backed up. Maybe you can get personal statements for friends and family?

Whats annoying about the RFE is having to get statements from others and having to wait on people to get them back to you

People have no clue how urgent this is to us

Do we really need to get people to write affidavits?

Affidavits are pretty low on the evidence scale. If you have nothing else to send in then go for it.

Have you crafted wills, power of attorney, healthcare power of attorney? These all hold lots of weight.

Also you can send in joint bank account statements for all the months (nearly a year) that you have been waiting for a response.

For those of you who got an RFE, wondering if your online status shows the change?

My NOA was 10/23/2015. Haven't heard anything yet.

Worrying that I may get an RFE in the mail :(

My status still says case received but got the RFE yesterday. Broke my scanner today lol scanning all the documents for them to make copies but my stuff  went away fedex today so fingers crossed.
