Congrats! When u check online did it say anything about it being approved or only the letter in the mail?

Sorry for the late reply. I only received a letter. No notifications although I had selected the choice for text messages. I only got a text message days later saying that the card was ordered for production.

I-130 mailed: 6/11/12

NOA1: 6/14/12

Touched: 6/19/12

and so we wait

Congrats to those who got approved.

Question: Since its already September,

1. does any here plan on applying for Naturalization next month?

2. Can I apply even though I still haven't heard anything for my ROC? (when I get eligible to apply which is Oct 28th next month)

Journey to citizenship now. Finally the last one!

Yes! you can file for Naturalization as soon as you are eligible! In-fact, that would force USCIS to adjudicate your pending I-751 case(s) before your N-400 application is finalized! Good luck to you.

So my card was mailed and was sent to my OLD address in New York (we are now in Texas). The envelope was left in our old mailbox, other mail sent before and after the card was automatically forwarded per our USPS change of address. Luckily my old neighbor went over and collected it (new owners have not moved in yet) and will forward it on to me.

Can you tell me when you changed your address? I have moved from NY to Texas . This scares me. I dont want my green card to go my old address because its an apt and they got new ppl their already.

I submitted my change of address on August 30th and I got the email confirmation it was "changed" September 2nd. My greencard was sent September 7th (I think that is what USPS tracking said, their system is down so I cannot double check).

I found out by looking at the tracking - it said it had been left in the mailbox in my old town.

Did you receive any letter or email from USCIS after you moved that your case is now transferred to California Center? Did your EAC reference number change to WAC? Was your approval letter from Vermont office?

Sorry i am asking you too many questions. Its just that i asked these questions in a separate topic but i didnt get any response.Thank you

Do u mind me asking when did u apply for ROC?

The timing to be honest was a bit of a mess. I got the original approval update online on August 31st. I changed addresses with USCIS on August 30th. So literally it all happened at once. Not transfer and as of yet the greencard is the only thing that has been physically sent out. My neighbor has it in her possession and confirmed the tracking number to me.

No doubt the approval letter has been returned to USCIS who will then hopefully send it to the correct address once they see my change of address in the system.

No worries ask as many questions as you want!

I did get an email confirming my change of address was processed. Clearly was not applied to the card production order for the ROC.

My NOA was 10/22. Don't worry I am sure you will hear something soon! There seems to be no logical order to how things are processed :(

Thanks. I changed the address in july and in few days i got their email confirmation about the address change. So i am assuming, they wouldnt inform us if file goes to CSC from VSC or when file will be sent. to CSC. The only update from them would be either RFE or approval
