How long does it take before receiving a case # from NVC

Dear Visa Journey Familie,

I need some help, it's slowly driving me insane. I got my case approved by Texas Visa Center on July 27th 2015. I am waiting already since 2 month to get a case # from NVC. I called them after the 30 days not hearing from them they told me to send an email to the research service - what I did but nothing happened. We called USCIS they told us they start tracking the case after not hearing anything with in 90 days. For me it gets really complicated because we set actually a time to get married etc. and I took a job offer as a musician, what I am doing for living, I have to travel for that job. My attorney is telling me that I have to stay in the US at least for 60 days. I started reading all the other timelines, they got there # with in 2 weeks or so and the case got sent to the consulate. I was actually already taking off from work for 90 days now it's getting really tight. The visa center is delaying me so much that I don't know what to do. I feel so unorganized because I can't do anything, I can't book a flight, I can't make any wedding plans, I can't go to the medical exam, etc.... this is really driving me nuts.

Hope everything works out well.

Attorney should be tracking this down for you, but try Infopass appointment, congressperson and USCIS Ombudsman for help. Some people have their petitions go missing and they need to be tracked down. Keep on it. Someone recently even got some help by getting a supervisor on the phone when calling the NVC. Try all routes to get someone to start figuring out where your petition is and why it is not being sent through the NVC to your consulate yet.

no reassurance about that.. I called USCIS too regarding my case, it has been 31 days after our k1 petition approval but up to now, they said our case is still pending for sending to NVC, they don't have a timeline but it might take up to 90 days.. NVC told me to email their research department, so I did yesterday, I hope to hear from them by nxt week...

Our case was received at the NVC last Thursday, and a case file was assigned Friday. The NVC guy was very helpful and said it could be there a week or more, but lately they have been running pretty quick, so I am hoping for it to be short.
