It was 2 years ago, but took about a week. 3 days for them to send it to the courier and then 2 days to get to fiancee's city. So if picking up in Kyiv, probably around 2-3 days. You shouldn't count on getting it back same day though.

1/4/13 - I129-F Sent | 1/8/13 - Received by USCIS
1/10/13 - NOA1 to VSC | 1/11/13 - Text/Email | 1/17/13 - Hard Copy Received
1/16/13 - Alien Registration Number changed
5/24/13 or 5/29/13 - Case Transferred to TSC
7/2/13 - NOA2 from TSC! (173 days from NOA1) | 7/6/13 - Hard Copy Received
7/18/13 - Shipped to NVC | 7/26/13 - Received at NVC and case number assigned
7/29/13 - In transit to consulate | 7/31/13 - Received by consulate
8/20/13 - Medical - Passed | 8/21/13 - Interview - Approved!
8/28/13 - Passport with visa ready to pickup from courier
10/17/13 - POE - JFK
10/28/13 - Applied for SSN and marriage license | 11/2/13 - SS card received
11/21/13 - Wedding

Hello Folks,

quick question regarding the interview. Do most couples do the interview together? Or are they separated and asked questions in different rooms?

There are no "rooms", is just one big hall that has multiple windows. You(both) will be called up to a window for interview. (Some what similar to DMV or Bank Teller window).

The interview is for the beneficiary, they will be focusing on her/him. The questions will be geared toward the judgement of how genuine the relationship is.

Everything that needs to be known about you(the petitioner) - has been already gathered during USCIS stage. Your involvement is only for moral support.

Hello Folks,

quick question regarding the interview. Do most couples do the interview together? Or are they separated and asked questions in different rooms?

When I was there with my fiancee, the office asked me to sit down and asked questions to her (in Russian). I could sit in the closest seat to the window and still hear everything though. After about 2 minutes, he called me up and asked some more questions to me (in English) and that was it, said that we were approved. Nothing really to sweat about. No hard or gotcha questions at all. Basically just how you met, how many times did you see each other, did you meet each other's families.
